An analysis of occupant safety is performed and the optimum conditions of restraint system. which simultaneously meet the requirements of the FMVSS 208(25mph unbelted) and the NCAP test conditions, is proposed. A 25mph unbelted test conditions(50th%ile male and 5th%toile female dummy) are analyzed and find out the optimum conditions of the Knee Bolster(K/B) and airbag. Then the NCAP test condition is analyzed using the optimum conditions of the K/B and airbag previously found and find out the optimum condition of seat belt.

Video fingerprinting is an important issue in the copyright protection field as digital environment enables the copyright infringement to get easier and easier. Copyright owners want to identify contents on the net and to block infringed contents. In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm to identify video contents even if we only have a video frame. The algorithm divides a video content into scenes using deep learning network and then extracts common feature from a scene. We use deep learning with convolution neural network for video scene segmentation. It can be more precise than traditional method that use histogram. The feature database contains only a set of common features per a scene. The proposed algorithm can reduce the size of the database by a factor of a hundred, which can reduce the database comparison time by a factor of a few.

Continuous further development in all safety areas is indispensable to meet the steadily increasing requirements of consumer protections and regulations in various countries. Presently, lots of numerical simulations as well as real world tests are still on going in automotive companies, however, only experienced experts can deal with simulations. Therefore, the MADYMO Auto-Running System (MARS) is developed to enhance these situations. Using this system, MADYMO CAE background is unnecessary for restraint system engineers/designers and test engineers to obtain the optimal design parameters without sacrificing cost and time.
