        조선시대 사족층의 시조와 일상성 담론

임주탁 ( Ju Fak Yim ) 한국시가학회 2010 韓國 詩歌硏究 Vol.29 No.-

The Joseon gentry`s Sijo works seldom presented various aspects of their daily lives, because Sijo was not private but public form of song and had been used as a propaganda vehicle of reigning their people. Most Sijo works had described ideal lives of people including themselves, so I debate the issue of the relation between their Sijo works and Allteglichkeit in terms of discourses which present their thoughts about their people`s daily lives. Firstly, Saseong Maeng, the writer of Ganghosasi-ga, presented the gentry`s attitudes and forms of lives whereas Hee Hwang, the writer of Sasi-ga did ones of the peasant. All of them emphasized that the people had to live in sympathy with nature and adapt themselves to circumstances without greed. Secondly, Hyeonbo Lee, the writer of Eobu-ga, Hwang Lee, the writer of Dosan-sibigok, and Yi Lee, the writer of Gosangugok-ga, all accepted it, but each of them emphasized another content of daily lives of the gentry. Hyeonbo Lee emphasized the importance of self-discipline of the gentry. While Hwang Lee valued reading the scriptures of Confucians through which the gentry could study and practice the truth which former great men like Confucius had founded, Yi Lee valued trying to find out, by themselves, the truth which was inherent in the nature and their circumstances of the day. These discourses seemed to be made in the period that the reign order of Joseon had been re-established by the gentry from country districts. Thirdly, Hongyu Lee, the writer of Snamin-yukka, and Baekkyu Wi, the writer of Nong-ga, all of them did not have chance to live the capital, presented deferent discourses from the former writers. While Hongyu Lee suggested that the gentry like him had to keep always their critical consciousness against the gentry who lived in the capital, Baekkyu Wi embodied ideal daily life of the peasant to which the gentry living in country districts belonged. Like above, discourses of the gentry at their Sijo works were deferent from each others, discourses on how to lead daily lives of people`s. This conclusion means the form of Sijo has functioned as literary space in which writers from the gentry their opinions about their and people`s ideal daily lives for maintaining the nation oder made by themselves.

Neuronal Elav-like (Hu) Proteins Regulate RNA Splicing and Abundance to Control Glutamate Levels and Neuronal Excitability

        Ince-Dunn, G.,Okano, Hirotaka J.,Jensen, K.B.,Park, W.Y.,Zhong, R.,Ule, J.,Mele, A.,Fak, John J.,Yang, C.,Zhang, C.,Yoo, J.,Herre, M.,Okano, H.,Noebels, Jeffrey L.,Darnell, Robert B. Cell Press 2012 Neuron Vol.75 No.6

The paraneoplastic neurologic disorders target several families of neuron-specific RNA binding proteins (RNABPs), revealing that there are unique aspects of gene expression regulation in the mammalian brain. Here, we used HITS-CLIP to determine robust binding sites targeted by the neuronal Elav-like (nElavl) RNABPs. Surprisingly, nElav protein binds preferentially to GU-rich sequences in vivo and in vitro, with secondary binding to AU-rich sequences. nElavl null mice were used to validate the consequence of these binding events in the brain, demonstrating that they bind intronic sequences in a position dependent manner to regulate alternative splicing and to 3'UTR sequences to regulate mRNA levels. These controls converge on the glutamate synthesis pathway in neurons; nElavl proteins are required to maintain neurotransmitter glutamate levels, and the lack of nElavl leads to spontaneous epileptic seizure activity. The genome-wide analysis of nElavl targets reveals that one function of neuron-specific RNABPs is to control excitation-inhibition balance in the brain. Video Abstract:
