$I_{\lambda}$-convergence in intuitionistic fuzzy $n$-normed linear space
Nabanita Konwar,Pradip Debnath 원광대학교 기초자연과학연구소 2017 ANNALS OF FUZZY MATHEMATICS AND INFORMATICS Vol.13 No.1
The notion of lacunary ideal convergence in intuitionistic fuzzy normed linear space (IFNLS) was introduced by the present corresponding author [P. Debnath, Lacunary ideal convergence in intuitionistic fuzzy normed linear spaces, Comput. Math. Appl., 63 (2012), 708-715] and an open problem in that paper was whether every lacunary $I$-convergent sequence is lacunary $I$-Cauchy. Further, a new concept of convergence of sequences in an intuitionistic fuzzy $n$-normed linear space (IFnNLS) was given in [M. Sen, P. Debnath, Lacunary statistical convergence in intuitionistic fuzzy $n$-normed linear spaces, Math. Comput. Modelling, 54 (2011), 2978-2985]. With the help of this new definition of convergence, the main aim of this paper is to introduce the concept of $I_{\lambda}$-convergence in an IFnNLS, where $I$ is an ideal of a family of subsets of positive integers $\mathbb{N}$. We also define $I_{\lambda}$-limit points and $I_{\lambda}$-cluster points and establish relations between them. Finally we introduce the notion of $I_{\lambda}$-Cauchy sequence in IFnNLS. We improve and extend some existing results and give a positive answer to the open problem mentioned above in the setting of an IFnNLS.
ALMOST PSEUDO CONTACT STRUCTURE
Debnath, Pratyay,Konar, Arabinda Korean Mathematical Society 2011 대한수학회논문집 Vol.26 No.1
A new kind of structure is introduced in an even dimensional differentiable Riemannian manifold and some basic properties of this structure is discussed. Also the existence of such structure is shown with an example.
Exploring the behavior of seasonal agricultural migrants in the Rarh region of West Bengal, India
Debnath Manoj 대한공간정보학회 2021 Spatial Information Research Vol.29 No.1
The present paper examines the recent behavioral change of seasonal agricultural migrants in West Bengal. In this context, the present study tries to identify the recent change of destination regions of rural out-migrants in contrast with past migration history. The study is primarily conducted based on information collected from door to door surveys through a structured questionnaire. The logistic regression model has been fitted to analyze the effect of determinant factors on rural male outmigration in the study area. This study identifies how behavior of seasonal agricultural migrants has changed with the ascension of time and space. Shifting routes of seasonal migrants identified with the help of changing migration flow using GIS techniques. The study reveals that due low wage rate in the agricultural sector, rural people are not willing to move toward the past agricultural destination region such as Barddhaman and adjoining areas as agricultural workers. The young males migrate toward new migration destinations areas like western and south India, and the majority of them amalgamated other than agricultural activities. On the contrary, the high wage rate at urban center allures young males is the leading reason behind the recent shifting of migration destination from an agricultural region to industrially developed urban areas. The young male folk moved out of the villages in searching of other than agricultural activities because of being the woeful presence of opportunity in non-agricultural activities in the countryside.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging for Brain Tumor Detection
Debnath Bhattacharyya,Ronnie Caytiles,Yvette Gelogo,Seung-Hwan Jeon,Tai-hoon Kim 한국정보기술학회 2011 Proceedings of KIIT Conference Vol.2011 No.5
Brain tumors are the second most common group of childhood cancers. Treatment requires a very specialized plan involving a team of medical specialists. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to visualize detailed internal structures such as the brain. In this paper, we propose an image segmentation method to indentify or detect tumor from the brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
