With growing of wind turbine industry, offshore wind turbine system is getting more attention in recent years. Foundation of the offshore wind turbine plays a key role in stability of whole system. In this work, 5MW NREL reference wind turbine with rated speed of 11.4m/s is used for load calculation. Wind loads and wave loads are evaluated using GH-Bladed (Garard Hassan) and FAST (NREL). Additionally, FE simulation is carried out to investigate the wave effect on the support structure. Meanwhile, this work is trying to systematize and optimize load cases simulation for foundation of wind turbine system.
외부 메모리 기반 대용량 점군 데이터의 가시화 및 편집

In this paper, we propose a method for storing large point cloud data in an external memory, retrieving it level by level, and visualizing it. The point cloud data is stored in an external memory in the form of an octree folder structure, and level-of-detail (LOD) is classified according to the depth of the tree. Then, when loading the stored point cloud data, the octree nodes to be loaded are selected based on the LOD and camera parameters, and the points in the nodes are imported and visualized using the rendering thread and the loading thread. In addition, a method for editing point cloud in an external memory is proposed. When editing point cloud data, instead of editing all points, the editing functions are applied only to the point cloud in the internal memory. Then, the editing history is stored, and when the editing works are completed, the editing functions are applied to the point cloud in the external memory. Finally, the proposed method was verified by implementing a computer program and experimenting with it.

So far, we were considered the noise control of 4 cylinder gasoline engine from a two different standpoint. The first, we should reduce the sound pressure level of the exhaust tail pipe noise, the second, should make the timber of tail pipe noise soft when the interior occupants and somebody in exterior listen the noise. But the exhaust noise was comprised of the engine firing 2<SUP>nd</SUP> order and its harmonics, the half order which was occurred by not being the same length of the exhaust manifold and the exhaust pipe acoustic which was made by the pipe length and the diameter. Because of above stated reasons, the noise made a higher level, a kind of shock and harsh in the exhaust tail pipe, so we were difficult to tune the noise. Therefore, the study analyzed the cause of the exhaust tail pipe noise characteristic and understood the all noise control characteristic of exhaust component. After this, we were able to control the exhaust component to get the low noise level and soft when somebody listen the noise as a proper arrangement of the exhaust component.
엔진 냉각 회로를 이용한 저온에서의 우레아 인젝터 온도 제어 연구

As exhaust gas regulations have been strengthened recently, the application of the SCR system is increasing, and the performance of the urea injector is becoming important. In the SCR system, the urea injector injects urea into the exhaust pipe. When the urea injector does not operate at the proper time and injection amount, the amount of NOx in the exhaust gas increases. In order to improve the performance of the urea injector, it includes a water-cooled or air-cooled cooling system considering the urea water quality. However, at low temperatures, the cooling system may be out of operating temperature and may not work. Therefore, regulations on exhaust gas regulate the urea injector to operate within 15 minutes after starting when the urea is frozen. This study aims to describe the temperature control method of the urea injector which satisfies exhaust gas regulation at low temperature by using the engine cooling circuit.
Analysis of economy and load effect of hybrid tower for wind turbine

With the development of wind industry, the rated power of wind turbine also increase gradually. Accordingly, the size of wind turbine tower becomes larger and larger. The tower base diameter of 2MW wind turbine is about 4m. Larger tower is expected for 4MW or 5MW turbine. Due to limitation of transportation, new type of tower with smooth transportation and effective cost is needed. In this work, a hybrid tower consisting of steel and concrete is designed and analyzed. The optimum ratio of steel and concrete of hybrid tower are calculated as well as the thickness of the concrete part. Different FE analysis including modal analysis, buckling analysis and fatigue analysis are performed to check the design of hybrid tower comparing with the steel tower. Redesign is also expected after various analysis.
