초등교원양성 및 임용제도에 대한 교대생들의 인식고찰 : 서울교대생들을 중심으로

In order to find a better model of elementary school teacher education system for the future, this paper attempts to explore the teacher training systems of three European countries, Great Britain, Germany and France, which are known for their superior educational systems. We first discussed the overall educational systems of the three countries with regards to the historical perspectives of the educational system, the required qualities and the licence programs of the teacher and the employment system. We then touched upon the issues that have arisen in the Korean teacher training system. Based on the resources that we have considered in the three European countries, we surveyed the students from Seoul National University of Education for investigating to what extent they are satisfied with the current teacher training and employment system and presenting the alternatives to it. This survey is expected to serve a basis for future study of the development of the Korean elementary school teacher training system.
