Focused on the Kovacs movement among the steel bar movements, the movement of Berente, German male representative player, who participated in the "88 Seoul Olympiad, and those of Lee Joo-Young and Han Yun-Soo, Korean male representative players, who participated in the "90 Asian Games were comparatively analyzed, which brought forth following conclusions:<BR> 1. Neck Angle<BR> At the 1st phase, BT player showed 215°, JH player, 195.3°, and YS player, 198°: BT player performed more perfect movement for sommersault than those by JH and YS players; at the 3rd phase, BT player showed 194°, JH player, 190°, and YS player, 203°: BT and JH players made the body angle small in order to have the volocity of sommersault more speedy.<BR> 2. Trunk-Angle and Knee-Angle<BR> At the 3rd phase, BT player made smaller body angle than those by JH and YS players as 57.5° and 35°: it appeared as that for accelating the speed of sommersault.<BR> 3. Shoulder Angle<BR> At the 1st phase, BT, JH and YS players showed 120°, 137.8° and 152° respectively: BT player pulled his body more upward; at the 5th phase, BT player performed a larger angle than those by JH and YS players as 202.3°: it appeared a desirable posture, that is, he took the bar more rapidly for the next continuous movements by stretching his body straightly.<BR> 4. Hand deviation Angle and Hanging Angle<BR> In case of hand deviation angle, BT, JH and YS players performed 17.5°, 20° and 32° respectively: BT player started the movement of sommersault faster than other players; and, as for hanging angle, the three players showed 35.3°, 26.2° and 19.8° in the order mentioned: BT player performed a more desirable posture, that is, he grasped the bar faster than other players after the movement of sommersault so that he could took the posture of next movement easier.<BR> 5. Height and Distance<BR> As for height, at the 3rd phase as that for vertical posture, showed BT player, 4.46m, JH player, 4.54m and YS player, 4.72m: YS player appeared higher position; in case of distance, total lengthes of BT, JH and YS players were 1.68m, 1.54m and l.72m respectively: also that of YS player appeared longer, that is, it is interpreted as that the slowness of his speed in sommersault made the next continuous movement difficult to play.<BR> 6. Time<BR> In case of time, at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th phases, BT player took 0.6390 sec., JH player, 0.6674 sec., and YS player, 0.6816 sec.: BT player showed faster movement of sommersault; as for the total time of sommersault and spinning, the three players showed 0.8804 sec., 0.9088 sec, and 0.9372 sec. respectively.

The objective of this study was to investingate Body Composition and Maximal Oxygen Uptake of Woman University Student.<BR> For this investigation the author measured 2 Skinfold thickness on each person by Double pinch Method and BRUCE Program of treadmill exercise test.<BR> The subjects of this survey are the 7 soccer player in S university and 25 Korean Dancer, 25 Modern Dancer, 25 Ballet Dancer, 13 Physical Education student in K university in Seoul.<BR> 1. Body Composition Measurement<BR> 1) %Fat<BR> It was M. 33.00±6.54% in physical Education Student, M. 24.05±3.59% in Korean Dancer, M. 23.58±3.13% in soccer player, M. 22.71±3.87% in Modern Dancer, M. 21.21±2.93% in Ballet Dancer Team.<BR> 2) LBM<BR> It was M. 42.35±3.51㎏ in soccer player, M. 38.05±3.05㎏ in Ballet Dancer, M. 37.87±2.75㎏ in Modern Dancer, M. 37.72±2.80㎏ in Korean Dancer, M. 36.14±4.63㎏ in Physical Education Student Team.<BR> 2. Maximal Oxygen uptake Measurement<BR> As their mean maximal oxygen uptake(?O₂ max) per lean body mass, M. 69.95±7.25㎖/min, ㎏, LBM in Soccer Player, M. 62.87±9.55 ㎖/min, ㎏, LBM in Physical Education Student, M. 60.60±8.63㎖/min, ㎏, LBM in Ballet Dancer, M. 58.35±11.06㎖/min, ㎏, LBM in Modern Dancer, M. 55.53±8.45㎖/min, ㎏, LBM in Korean Dancer Team.

The purpose of this study was physiological analysis of physical performance in mensturations by review. Findings were as follows;<BR> 1. The variation in age at menarche seems therefore considerably smaller in the case of skeletal age compared to calendar age.<BR> The variation of age at menarche in various population is considerable.<BR> 2. On the average, athletes attained menache later than the general population because of at the extreme of the perforance continuum, these girls classified as the better performance were commonly later maturing and linear in physique.<BR> 3. Mild exercise does not appear to here a significant effect on menstural disorders.<BR> However heavy intensive training has been found to induce amenorrhea (cessation of mensturation) in athletes, particularly long - distance runners and gymnast.<BR> 4. The amenorrhea is temporary and uncomplicating and disappears upon cessation of heavy training.

The objective of this study was to investigate Body composition and Respiratory. Circulation function of woman university student. For this investigation the author measured 2 skinfold thickness on each person by Double Pinch Method and BRUCE PROGRAM of treadmill exercise test. The subject of this survey are the 7 soccer player in S university and 6 ordinary student in K university located in Seoul. The conclusion of this study were as follow: 1. Body Composition 1) %Fat: It was M. 33.00±6.54% in Non-athletes, M. 23.58±3.13% in Athletes. 2) LBM: It was M. 36.14±4.63㎏ in Non-athletes, M. 42.35±3.51㎏ in Athletes. 2. Respiratory. Circulation Function 1) In VO₂ max and VO₂/wt max, Athletes were significantly higher than Non-athletes. 2) All the respire-circulatory factors except maximum Respiratory Quotient and maximum Respiratory Rate, Athletes were significantly higher than Non-athletes.

The purpose of this study is to examine the specificity of maximum aerobic power and anaerobic Dower threshold (AT) in female of physical education major.<BR> Laboratory assessements were made on thirteen female of physical education major. Each subject completed a continuous multi-stage treadmill running exercise procedure designed to achieve maximum oxygen uptake.<BR> As the results of this study, Conclusion were obtained as follows;<BR> The average means of Age, Body Height, Body Weight were 20.14 ± 1.04 years, 152.20 ± 4.21Cm, 60.40 ± 3.84Kg.<BR> 2. The average means of maximal oxygen uptake (VO₂ max) were 2.99±0.21 ℓ/min female of physical education major.<BR> 3. Oxygen uptake of anaerobic threshold (AT-VO₂) was 2.08 ± 0.19 ℓ/min. The AT was expressed by a percent of VO₂ max. It was 67.40 ± 5.41% in female of physical education major.
