In resent years, due to a reduction of engine room space and shortening of oil cooling tube for power steering (PS) system, usage environments of PS high-pressure hose become severe. However, Durability demands of auto makers are intensified. Therefore, the developments of rubber material and the connection structure for hose assemblies which satisfy the intensified durability demands in further severe usage environments are required. This paper presents the finite element analysis model for the development of the connection structure.
