While the number of the drunken driving is decreased every year, the intoxicated(DWI) recidivism rate is increased steeply. Drunken driving has been influenced significantly on a diver’s characteristics compared to violate the traffic rules. Therefore, it is required to study a repetitive drunken driver’s variable human factors, for example, psychological status, alcohol dependence, and alcohol problems. This research analyzes recidivism affected by the relapse factors which are driver’s regional characteristics, completing the Traffic Safety Education or not, and driver’s daily stress, so it had indicated the number of ways to suppress drunken driving. According to analysis results, the drivers who didn’t complete the courses of the Traffic Safety Education and problem drinkers have high probability the DWI recidivism rate. Although a driver’s daily stress has little effect on the intoxicated(DWI) recidivism rate, one of the causes related to the DWI recidivism rate has strong influence. The DWI recidivism rate expect to decrease when this analysis results are reflected by the Traffic Safety Education courses and policies.
