Recently, the restriction policy on the energy-saving and environmentally friendly refrigerator is reinforced in our nation as well as developed countries. Therefore, in this paper, when we apply R-22 as the existing refrigerant and R-290, R-600a as the alternative refrigerant in case of a constant cooling capacity at evaporator, we compared and analysed about performance of refrigerator by changing VAe and VAc. In result when VAe, VA: is increased, COP is also increased, this tendency is more prominent at R-22 than R-290, R-600a.

A Refrigeration and air-conditioning industry has been developed in proportion to the development of industry and the improvement of the standard of living. And many studies have been performed for efficiency improvement, economy energy. simplifying facility of the industry. The purpose of this study is the efficiency improvement and economy energy of vapor compression type refrigeration and air conditioning cycle by using fan rotation power which gets from the gas motor driven the pressure of oneself's working medium. The experimental apparatus is composed of a compressor, an expansive valve and each condenser and each evaporator that has the fan driven by electricity and pressure of refrigerant to compare the cycle of exiting electric driving type with the cycle of fan driven by the pressure of refrigerant The test results show that the motor is working by refrigerant and the power consumption of the whole equipment for refrigerant pressure driving type is less than that of the existing electric driving type.

This study of the performance characteristics of natural refrigerants such as R-290(propane), R-600a(iso-butane) and R-1270(propylene) has investigated to compare with conventional HCFC's refrigerant R-22 for air-cooled heat pump system. The experimental apparatus has basic parts of cycle that uses the air as a heat source. The performance of the air-cooled system using hydrocarbon refrigerants had been getting better than R-22 from start-up to the regular hour, and similar trend was shown after stabilization. Through the above, It is possible that hydrocarbon refrigerants could be drop-in alternatives for R-22.
