In this paper, we introduce a model for detecting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) using YOLO (You Only Look Once), an object detection neural network. PPE is used to maintain a safe working environment, and proper use of PPE protects workers’ safety and health. However, failure to wear PPE or wearing it improperly can cause serious safety issues. Therefore, a PPE detection system is crucial in industrial settings.

Microfluidic fuel cells are defined a group of fuel cells capable of operation within the framework of a microfluidic chip. This type of fuel cell operates without a physical barrier, such as a membrane, to separate the anode and the cathode, and can use both metallic and biological catalysts. In this study, we propose the microfluidic fuel cell integrated groove shape electrodes for improvement of the power density. The microfluidic fuel cell, composed of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) layer over a Pyrex glass substrate that contains a platinum groove shape electrodes, was designed and fabricated. Hydrogen peroxide is employed both as fuel and oxidant and dissolved in dilute sodium hydroxide and sulfuric acid solutions, respectively. Experiments were performed on the microfluidic fuel cells integrated various length electrodes. The maximum power density of groove shape electrode fuel cell higher than non-groove shape electrode fuel cell.
