본 연구는 발달장애인 가족 삶의 질을 알아보는 척도를 개발하고 타당화하는데 목적이 있다. 척도 개발을 위한 첫 단계로 문헌분석과 발달장애인 가족 심층 면담을 하여 척도 구성요인과 측정 문항을 작성하였다. 척도 초안은 15명의 전문가 집단으로 이루어진 패널에게 3차례 델파이 조사하였고, 전문가 내용 타당도 검증을 통해 수정과 보완의 과정을 거쳐 발달장애인 가족을 대상으로 예비 조사하였다. 위 과정을 통해 개발된 척도를 이용해 발달장애인 가족 구성원을 대상으로 본조사를 하였다. 총응답자는 207명이나 불성실한 응답을 제외한 200명의 자료를 분석해 척도 타당화 검증에 사용하였다. 타당화 검증은 사각 회전을 이용한 직접 오블리민 방식으로 탐색적 요인분석 후 확인적 요인분석을 하였다. 요인분석 결과 발달장애인 가족 삶의 질 척도는 5개의 요인에서 22개의 측정 문항이 도출되었다. 5개의 요인은 전문가 5인과 명명작업을 하였다. 최종 개발된 발달장애인 가족 삶의 질 척도의 요인은 ‘심리적 건강’, ‘발달장애인에 대한 부담’, ‘지역사회 참여’, ‘개방성’과 ‘응집력’이다. 신뢰도 검증을 위한 문항 내적 신뢰도는 각 요인에서 .662에서 .892로 나타났고 척도 전체는 .928이다. 공인 타당도 검증을 위해 비치센터 장애인 가족 삶의 질 척도와 비교하여 유의미한 상관관계를 확인하였다. 이상의 과정을 통해 본 연구에서 개발한 발달장애인 가족 삶의 질 척도는 발달장애인 가족 삶의 질을 측정하기에 신뢰할 수 있고 타당한 도구임을 확인하였다. 향후 본 척도가 발달장애인 가족의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 가족 지원 프로그램이나 정책 개발 등을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다. The purpose of this study is to develop a family quality of life scale for families with members with developmental disability and to test its validity and reliability. To develop the scale, preliminary questions were prepared through literature analysis and in-depth interviews with families with developmental disabilities, The draft scale was developed through Delphi surveys and expert content validation. After that, the data of 200 family members with developmental disabilities were analyzed. Validity was verified through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, and factors were named with 5 experts. As a result of the study, the family quality of life scale of families with members with developmental disabilities consisted of 22 items with 5 factors. The five factors are 'family psychological health', 'family burden', 'community participation', 'family acceptance' and 'family fellowship'. The reliability was .662 to .892 for each factor, and the overall scale was .928. The finally developed family quality of life scale was confirmed to be a reliable and valid tool to measure the family quality of life of families with developmental disabilities. It is expected that this scale can be used as basic data for developing family support programs and policies to improve the quality of life of families with developmental disabilities using this scale.
