중년 여성학습자의 학습참여 동기와 학습만족도의 관계: 학업참여의 매개효과

원격․평생교육기관에서 중년 여성학습자의 비율은 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 중년 여성학습자의 특성 및 학습과정에 대한 관심도 높아지고 있다. 학습의 과정을 보다 체계적으로 이해하는 것은 학습만족도를 비롯한 학습 성과를 극대화하고, 평생교육의 양적 성장과 더불어 질적 내실을 도모하는 데 중요한 일이다. 본 연구의 목적은 중년 여성학습자의 학습참여 동기와 학업참여, 학습만족도의 관계를 파악하고, 학습참여 동기와 학습만족도의 관계에서 학업참여가 매개 역할을 하는지 검증하기 위한 것 이다. 이를 위해 한국방송통신대학교 재학생 593명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하고, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석 및 위계적 회귀분석, Sobel Test를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 학습참여 동기와 학업참여, 학습만족도는 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 학습참여 동기와 학업참여가 높을수록 학습만족도는 높아졌다. 둘째, 학습참여 동기와 학습만족도의 관계에서 학업참여가 부분 매개 역할을 하였다. 이러한 결과는 중년 여성학습자의 학습만족도를 높이기 위해서는 학습행동을 유발하는 동기뿐만 아니라 학습에 직접 관여하는 학업참여를 높이기 위한 체계적인 개입이 필요함을 시사한다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the moderating effect of middle-aged female leaner’s academic engagement on the relationship between participative motivation and learning satisfaction. To this end, the data were collected from 593 students enrolled at Korea National Open University, followed by a correlation analysis, multiple linear regression, hierarchical regression and a sobel test. First, the study showed significant static correlation between participative motivation, academic engagement and learning satisfaction. The higher the participative motivation and academic engagement in the study, the higher the level of satisfaction. Second, academic engagement played a part in the relationship between participative motivation and learning satisfaction. These results suggest that In order to increase the learning satisfaction of middle-aged female learners, it is necessary to systematically intervene in order to increase the academic participation directly involved in the learning as well as the motivation for learning behavior.

중학교 시기의 일상적 경험에 대한 합의적 질적 분석 : 대학생 회상자료를 중심으로

목적 이 연구의 목적은 급격한 변화와 발달을 경험하는 중학교 시기의 일상적 삶을 분석하여 일상생활의 특징과 주된 어려움을 파악하고 중학생들의 적응 및 어려움 극복을 위한 교육적 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 방법 대학생 329명을 대상으로 개방형 질문지를 활용한 온라인 설문을 실시하여, 중학교 시기의 일상적 경험에 대한 회상 자료를 수집하고 합의적 질적 분석-수정본(CQR-M)의 절차에 따라 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, ‘중학교 시기에 가장 중요하게 여긴 것’ 영역에는 4개 범주가 도출되었으며, ‘관계’(43.2%), ‘성취’(32.3%), ‘진로에 대한 고민과 준비’(17.7%), ‘좋아하는 일에 몰두’(6.8%) 순이었다. 둘째, ‘중학교 시기에 가장 많이 한 활동’ 영역에는 4개 범주가 도출되었고, ‘대인관계’(42.2%), ‘진로’(40.4%), ‘취미활동’(15.3%), ‘외모관리’(2.1%) 순이었다. 셋째, ‘중학교 시기에 가장 어려웠던 점’ 영역에는 6개 범주가 도출되었고, ‘또래관계’(37.0%), ‘내적 어려움’(23.7%), ‘학업’(19.3%), ‘가정’(10.9%), ‘학교생활’(4.9%), ‘진로’(4.2%) 순이었다. 결론 중학교 시기의 삶에서 ‘친구’가 매우 중요하고, 그 밖에 성취, 진로, 공부, 외모관리가 중요함을 발견하였다. 중학교 시기의 경험과 어려움에 기초하여 이 시기의 위기 극복을 위한 교육과 상담의 필요성을 제안하였다. Objectives The purpose of this study was to understand the ordinary experiences of middle school students. Methods 329 undergraduates recalled and reported on the most important things, the most activities, and the main difficulties in the middle school period through an open questionnaire. and the data were analyzed by a consensual qualitative research-modified(CQR-M). Results ‘The most important things’ consisted of 4 categories(relationship, achievement, career preparation, and preoccupation with what they liked). ‘The most activities’ consisted of 4 categories(interpersonal relationships, career, hobbies, and appearance management). and ‘The main difficulties’ consisted of 6 categories(peer relationship, psychological difficulites, study, family, school lilfe, and career). Conclusions Friendship were the most important for middle school students. In addition, achievement, career, study, and appearance management were important. Based on the experiences and difficulties, we suggested the necessity of education and counseling to overcome the crisis in middle school period.
