CO2 용접을 이용한 열간압연강재의 용접민감성 및 용접부 기계적 성질에 대한 연구

The purpose of this study is to examine the susceptibility and mechanical properities of welding materials through the tensile and fatigue test. the results show as follow : Firstly, compared to base metal specimen, welded specimen measured higher in terms of yield point, tensile strength, but elongation and strain ratio measured lower, which is assumed due to decreased tension caused by hardness of the weld zone through weld input heating. Secondly, In this study, Almostly fatigue test resulted to have higher measured value compared to non fatigue test. It is believed that the material softened due to the repeated load in accordance with the increased fatigue cycle. Thirdly, the result of fatigue test shows that increased number of fatigue test cycle partially contribute to material softness, until it reaches to a certain limit (between upper/lower yield point). Finally the hardness test of all metals resulted in the order of HAZ, welded metal, base metal which was not far different to the general fact. In other word, there was not much difference in hardness value whether the fatigue test had undertaken or not in welded specimen.
