본 논문은 ZVS asymmetrical half-bridge converter에서 무부하시 전력소모 분석과 감소 방안에 대한 연구이다. Asymmetrical half-bridge converter는 영전압 스위칭을 통해 효율 증가가 가능하고, 낮은 EMI 발생의 장점으로 인해 최근 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 대기전력 소모의 관점에서는 기존의 hard switching converter에 비해 오히려 손실이 증가한다. 이는 공진형 컨버터의 무부하시 동작이 기생전류에 의한 도통손실이 크기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이를 개선 할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고 70W급의 실험용 SMPS의 제작을 통해 제안된 방법의 타당성을 검증한다.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disorder commonly occurred in the central nervous system and is an autoimmune disease. Corticosteroids are used as a short-term treatment for multiple sclerosis, but they cause side effects. Therefore, interferon beta having antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects, is used for long-term treatment. Interferon beta-1a, produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells, is glycosylated upon biosynthesis and forms glycoform, which is similar to naturally occurring protein. However, its process has disadvantages such as slow cell growth, low yield and high contamination possibility. Also, recombinant Escherichia coli is widely used for the production of interferon beta-1b due to its rapid growth and easy process scale up, but it lacks post-translational modification, leading to low activity. In addition, the produced Interferon beta-1b might cause protein aggregation due to misfolding. Alternatively, yeast can be used as a production host possessing N-glycosylation activity. Therefore, the choice of expression system in the production of interferon beta should be carefully selected in relation to the quality and yield.

The multiple sclerosis caused by multiple inflammatory disease or immune system disorder, is usually treated by interferon β through adjusting the abnormal immune reactions. For high production of human interferon β using recombinant E. coli, codon optimized and wild type genes were synthesized. When pET-15b or pET-21a vector was used as an expression vector with each gene, there was no target protein expression. When pQE30 vector was used as an expression vector, human interferon β was expressed by recombinant E. coli XL1-blue and E. coli JM109. Using the codon optimized gene, the expression of human interferon β was slightly increased as compared to that from wild type gene. However, most of expressed human interferon β was insoluble form.

본 논문은 AC LED에 적합한 Digital Dimmer에 관한 연구 이다. PWM 방식을 이용하여 조광 범위를 0?100% 되게 하였을 뿐만 아니라 AC LED를 상용 전원에 연결하여 사용 시 발생하는 플리커 문제를 플리커 개선 알고리즘을 추가하여 해결 하였다.
