        보건계열 대학생들의 성별 차이에 따른 스마트폰 중독 관련 주요 요인 분석

        Purpose : This study was to compare and analyze major factors related to smartphone addiction according to the gender of health-related college students. Methods : 720 people who voluntarily participated and agreed to fill out the questionnaire were randomly sampled. Smartphone addiction was measured using the Smartphone Addiction Scale Short Version (SAS-SV), sleep quality was measured using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), anxiety symptoms were measured using the self-assessment anxiety scale (SAS), and depression symptoms were measured using the self-assessment depression scale (SDS). In addition, the age of each individual and the main function of smartphone use were also investigated. Results : The prevalence of smartphone addiction was higher among female students than male students (p<.05), while male students mainly played games and female students mainly used multimedia (video/music) viewing and social networking services (p<.05). In addition, male students showed a high association with smartphone addiction in the group where games were the main function of smartphone use, the group with low sleep quality, and the group with anxiety symptoms (p<.05), but for female students, multimedia (video/music) Or, the group in which social networking service is the main function of smartphone use, the group with low sleep quality, and the group with symptoms of anxiety and depression showed a high correlation with smartphone addiction (p<.05). Conclusion : It is expected that the results of this study will be used as basic data for providing customized solutions considering the characteristics of smartphone addicts.

        중등도 이상의 어깨통증을 동반한 근육둘레띠(가시위근) 부분파열 환자를 위한 물리치료 프로그램 : 편심성 훈련과 동심성 훈련의 효과 비교

        Purpose : This study was to verify the effectiveness of eccentric training and to make clinical recommendations on detailed application methods by comparing the effects of changes in acromiohumeral distance (AHD), pain intensity, muscle strength, and functional performance after applying a 12-week eccentric training program (ET group) or concentric training program (CT group) for patients with partial rotator cuff (supraspinatus) tears with moderate to severe shoulder pain. Methods : A total of 29 subjects were assigned to either the “ET group (n=15)” or the “CT group (n=14)” through simple randomization and were measured in the same way at baseline before intervention, 4 weeks and 12 weeks after intervention. All subjects received a physical therapy program 12 sessions 3 times a week for the first 4 weeks, and physical therapy program, 12 sessions a week, from 4 weeks to 12 weeks, for a total 20 sessions. Ultrasound machine was used for AHD, visual analog scale (VAS) was used for pain intensity, electronic hand held dynamometer was used for muscle strength, Korean Constant shoulder score (K-CSS) used for functional performance. Results : AHD, pain intensity, and muscle strength did not show significant differences at 4 weeks, but improved numerically, and showed significant differences at 12 weeks (p<.05), showing superior results in the eccentric training group compared to the concentric training group. Functional performance showed significant changes at both 4 and 12 weeks (p<.05), and excellent results were also found in the eccentric training group. Conclusion : In patients with partial rotator cuff tears with moderate to severe shoulder pain, an eccentric training program increased acromiohumeral distance (AHD), reduced pain, and increased muscle strength. Therefore, it can be clinically presented as an intervention method that can quickly and effectively improve functional performance, which is the ultimate goal of physical therapy.

        내부 충돌증후군을 가진 고등학교 야구선수들을 위한 물리치료적 중재법 : 편심성 훈련과 동심성 훈련의 효과 비교

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to suggest a more effective method by comparing the effects of changes in pain intensity, muscle strength, and athletic performance after applying a 6-week eccentric training program (ET-MWM) or concentric training program (CT-MWM) with MWM for high school baseball players with shoulder internal impingement (SII). Methods : A total of 75 participants were randomly assigned to each group and divided into two groups, "ET-MWM group (n=35)" and "CT-MWM group (n=32)" according to the intervention method. Pain intensity, muscle strength (external rotation, internal rotation), and athletic performance were first measured before the intervention, and after the intervention 3 times a week for a total of 6 weeks, both groups were re-measured in the same way. Visual analog scale (VAS) was used for pain intensity, biodex dynamometer for muscle strength (60 °/sec.), and Kerlan-Jobe orthopedic clinic shoulder & elbow score (K-KJOC) for athletic performance. Results : As a result of analyzing the homogeneity of the pre-intervention characteristics and initial measurement variables of the study subjects, there was no significant difference between the two groups in all variable values. Pain intensity (VAS) was significantly reduced in the ET-MWM group than in the CT-MWM group (p<.05). In addition, the maximum muscle strength of external rotation & internal rotation of the shoulder (60 °/sec.) and athletic performance (K-KJOC) were significantly increased in the ET-MWM group than in the CT-MWM group (p<.05). Conclusion : Compared with the CT-MWM training program, the ET-MWM training program reduced shoulder joint pain and further increased the muscle strength required for throwing motion in high school baseball players. As the result showed better athletic performance improvement, the ET-MWM training program can be clinically recommended as a more effective intervention.

        운동과 MWM을 혼합한 중재(EMWM)가 어깨관절 충돌증후군 환자의 AHD, ROM, 기능수행정도에 미치는 효과

        Purpose : This study was to identify the effects of Mobilization with Movement combined with exercise (EMWM) on acromio-humeral distance (AHD), range of motion (ROM), pain intensity, and functional performance in patients with impingement syndrome of the shoulder. Methods : The subjects were 40 patients diagnosed with impingement syndrome of the shoulder. Twenty subjects are randomly assigned to each 2 different groups; Group 1. (exercise group), Group 2. (EMWM group). Three weekly interventions were given for 4 weeks. The main outcome measures were ultrasound, goniometer, visual analogue scale (VAS), and Korean Constant shoulder score (K-CSS). The ultrasound (AHD), ROM (flexion, abduction), pain intensity (for shoulder flexion) and functional performance (K-CSS) were compared between the groups. Results : The AHD was significantly increased in Group 2 compared to Groups 1. No significant difference was observed between the groups in the range of abduction of the shoulder, but the range of flexion was significantly increased in Group 2 compared to Groups 1. Pain intensity was significantly lower in Group 2 than in Group 1, and functional performance was significantly increased in Group 2 compared to Group 1. Conclusion : An intervention that combined mobilization with movement with exercise was more effective than exercise alone for rapid recovery from shoulder injury and improvement in functional performance.

        만성 발바닥 근막염 환자에게 물리치료와 코르티코스테로이드 주사가 미치는 효과 비교

        Purpose : This study was to compare the effect changes after physical therapy (extracorporeal shock wave therapy + high-load strengthening exercise) or corticosteroid injection in patients diagnosed with chronic plantar fasciitis. Methods : A total of 40 patients were randomly assigned to each group of 20. According to the intervention method, “Group 1. Physiotherapy” was performed for 12 weeks, and “Group 2. Corticosteroid injection” was performed only once. As a pre-intervention test, plantar fascia thickness, pain intensity Ⅰ, Ⅱ (What is the most painful moment of the day?, How painful is the first step in the morning?), and functional performance were measured. To compare the effects of each group, the tests 3, 6, and 12 weeks after were also performed using the same measurement method. Also, after 12 weeks, patient satisfaction was also compared. Results : There was no significant difference between the groups in the change in the thickness of the plantar fascia during all periods. However, pain intensity Ⅰ, Ⅱ was significantly lower in Group 1 than in Group 2 at only 12 weeks and functional performance was also significantly increased in Group 1 compared to Group 2 at only 12 weeks. Also, there was no significant difference between groups in patient satisfaction. Conclusion : The physiotherapy protocol, which consisted of extracorporeal shock wave therapy and high-load strengthening exercise, showed excellent results, especially after 12 weeks, compared to corticosteroid injection. It is recommended as a more effective treatment method as it is possible to safely return to daily life by reducing pain and improving functional performance.

        보건계열 대학생들의 스마트폰 중독수준 정도에 따른 주의력 조절, 대인관계 지지에 미치는 비교영향 분석

        Purpose : To investigate the degree of smartphone addiction among health-related college students, and to compare and analyze the effect of the degree of addiction on attention control and interpersonal support. Methods : 184 people who voluntarily participated and agreed to fill out the questionnaire were randomly sampled. The smartphone self-diagnosis scale was used to measure the degree of smartphone addiction, and the Attentional Control Questionnaire (ACQ) was used as a tool to measure the degree of attention control. In addition, the Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) was used to measure the degree of interpersonal support. Results : In comparison of the degree of smartphone addiction according to the general characteristics of the subjects, there was no significant difference according to religion, major, and grade, but there was a significant difference in gender and daily use time of smartphones (p <.05). There was a significant difference in the degree of attention control according to the level of smartphone addiction (high risk, potential risk, general user group) (p <.05), but there was no significant difference in the degree of interpersonal support. Conclusion : The degree of smartphone addiction was relatively higher for women than for men, and users who used it for a long time per day were more addicted. It also showed that attention control was further reduced in highly addictive users.

        만성 봉우리 밑 충돌증후군을 위한 물리치료적 접근법 : 편심성 훈련과 일반적 운동의 효과 비교

        Purpose : This study was to verify the effect of eccentric training and suggest a specific application method by comparing the effects of acromohumeral distance (AHD), supraspinatus tendon thicknees (STT), pain intensity and functional performance after MWM and eccentric training (MWM-ET) or general exercise (MWM-GE) in chronic subacromial impingement syndrome (SAIS) patients. Methods : A total of 55 participants were randomly assigned to each group, and according to the intervention method, “MWM-ET group (n=28)” vs. “MWM-GE group (n=27)” was divided into two groups. AHD, STT, pain intensity, and functional performance were measured before intervention, and both groups were re-measured 3 times a week after 6 weeks of intervention in the same way. Results : The AHD was significantly increased in MWM-ET group compared to MWM-GE group. No significant difference was observed between the groups in the STT, but Pain intensity was significantly lower in MWM-ET group than in MWM-GE group, and functional performance was significantly increased in MWM-ET group compared to MWM-GE group. Conclusion : As a result of MWM-ET intervention that further increases AHD compared to MGE, it can be clinically presented as a more effective intervention method for faster recovery from injury due to pain reduction and smooth return to daily life due to improved functional performance.

        어깨관절 내적 충돌증후군을 가진 청소년기 야구선수들의 ROM, 근력, 기능수행정도에 미치는 운동과 도수치료를 혼합한 중재들의 효과 비교

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify the comparison of the effects of manual therapy combined with exercise on range of motion (ROM), muscle strength, and functional performance in adolescent baseball players with internal impingement syndrome of the shoulder. Methods : The subjects were 30 patients diagnosed with impingement syndrome of the shoulder. Thirty subjects are randomly assigned to each 3 different groups; Group 1. (exercise group), Group 2. (exercise+mobilization; EMOB group), Group 3. (exercise+mobilization with movement; EMWM group). The interventions were performed three times a week for 4 weeks. The main outcome measures were goniometer, Biodex dynamometer, and Korean Kerlan Jobe shoulder-elbow (K-KJOC) scores. The ROM (external and internal rotation), muscle strength (external and internal rotation: 60 °/sec., 180 °/sec.), and functional performance were compared among the groups. Results : No significant difference was observed among the groups in the range of external rotation of the shoulder before and after the intervention, but the range of internal and total rotation was significantly increased in Group 2, 3 compared to Groups 1. Muscle strength of external and internal rotation (60 °/sec., 180 °/sec.) was not significantly different among Group 1, 2, 3, and functional performance was significantly increased in Group 2, 3 compared to Group 1. However, there was no significant difference between Group 2 and Group 3 in all measurements. Conclusion : An intervention with manual therapy such as EMOB and EMWM was more effective than exercise alone for rapid recovery from shoulder injury and improvement in functional performance. However, further efforts are needed to identify effects of specific interventions with manual therapy.

        만성 발바닥 근막염 환자에 대한 물리치료적 접근법: 특이적 뻗침운동과 고부하 강화 운동의 효과 비교

        Purpose : This study was to investigate the effectiveness of ESWT and plantar fascia-specific stretching exercise vs ESWT and high-load strengthening exercise in patients with chronic plantar fasciitis. Methods : The subjects were randomized to extracorporeal shock wave therapy ( ESWT, for 3 weeks) and daily plantar-specific stretching (Group Ⅰ: Stretch group) or ESWT and high-load progressive strength (Group Ⅱ: Strength group) performed every second day. The main outcome measures were ultrasound, visual analogue scale (VAS), and Korean Foot Function Index (KFFI). The ultrasound (plantar fascia thickness), pain intensity Ⅰ, Ⅱ (the most painful of the day?, the pain when you first step in the morning?) and KFFI (functional performance) were compared between the groups. Results : No significant difference was observed between the groups in the plantar fascia thickness but pain intensity Ⅰ, Ⅱ was significantly lower in Group 2 than in Group 1 at only 12weeks and functional performance was also significantly increased in Group 2 compared to Group 1 at only 12 weeks. Conclusion : The high-load strengthening exercise consisting of the progressive exercise protocol, resulted in superior after 12 weeks compared with plantar-specific stretching. High-load strength exercise may aid in a quicker reduction in pain and improvements in functional performance.

        중등도 이상의 목 통증을 동반한 앞쪽 머리 자세를 가진 중·고등학교 교사들을 위한 물리치료적 프로그램: 머리-목뼈 굽힘근 훈련과 일반적 훈련의 효과 비교

        Purpose : This study applied general training (control group) or cranio-cervical flexor training (experimental group) using a pressure biofeedback unit along with general training for 4 weeks to secondary school teachers with moderate to severe neck pain and forward head posture. After that, we tried to compare the effects through differences in neck pain intensity (using numberical rating scale), functional performance (using neck disability index), and cranio-vertebral angle change. Methods : All 50 subjects were randomly assigned to either the “experimental group (n= 25)” or the “control group (n= 25)”, and the measurements were evaluated in the same way before the intervention (baseline) and after the intervention (4 weeks). During the intervention period, the subject visited the physiotherapy center and made a reservation three times a week at a fixed time as much as possible, and each training session was thoroughly conducted under the 1:1 guidance of the therapist in charge so that the correct movement and number of times could be performed without compensatory action. Results : As a result of the homogeneity analysis on the general characteristics of the subjects, there were no significant differences between the groups in all variables (p>.05). Compared to the “control group”, the “experimental group” showed significant improvement after intervention in all measured variables of neck pain intensity, functional performance, and cranial-vertebral angle (p<.05). Conclusion : For secondary school teachers with forward head accompanied by neck pain, cranio-cervical flexor training using a compression biofeedback unit is an excellent method to show superior pain reduction and functional performance improvement compared to general training alone. In addition, it can be presented as a more effective intervention method that can promote recovery of forward head posture, which is an essential element of the solution.
