Small cell carcinoma of the cervix has been traditionally considered a rare subtype of squamous cell carcinoma characterized by a highly malignant behavior. However, it has become obvious that the majority of small cell carcinomas of the cervix expresses neuroendocrine, not squamous, differentiation. One case of intermediate cell neuroendocrine carinoma and three cases of small cell undifferentiated carcinoma were reported. Patients ranged in age from 37 to 50 (median, 44years) and presental as stages Ib(two patients), IIa(one patient), and IIb(one patient). One cases of intermediate cell neuroendocrine carinoma was combined with- endocervical adenocarcinoma and one case of small cell undifferentiated carcinoma was combined with adenocarcinoma in situ. All 4 tumors expressed one or more epithelial markers and neuroendocrine markers. Electron microscopically, neuroendocrine granules were observed in all 4 cases but large amount in intermediate cell neuroendocrine carinoma. A variety of treatment regimens was employed. One patient with intermediate cell neuroendocrine carinoma is alive now for 60 months after starting of treatment. But two of three patients with small cell undifferentiated carcinoma died of disease (34, 45 months) and one of them is alive now for 20 months. One patient had spinal metastasis and paraplegia which were treated twice with surgery and irradiation on tumor bed and the other patient was comatose with multiple liver metastasis. Small cell undifferentiated carcinoma of the cervix was more aggressive than intermediate cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the cervix. We can differentiate small cell undifferentiated carcinoma of the cervix from intermediate cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the cervix, pathologically, ultrastructurally and immunocytochemically.

The subchorionic hematoma is not a rare finding in early pregnancy. It may be an important cause of bleeding during pregnancy and monitoring of the placenta and fetus by ultrasound can be used to obtain precise information in order to manage patients with bleeding. A subchorionic localization of the hematoma was not associated with a higher incidence of spontaneous abortion than a subplacental localiztation of the hematoma. We experienced the occurrence of a large subchorionic hematoma in a 29 years old, multiparous woman who had low abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding in 16 weeks of gestation. The patient was managed conservatively and had a successful outcome at term. So we report the case with the brief review of literatures.

In this paper, effects of resonator within intake manifold system on volumetric efficiency were investigated in the 4-cylinder and 4 stroke Diesel Engines. The effects of resonator system were analyzed on resonant speed and on volumetric efficiency. Resonant speed was calculated by acoustic theory and volumetric efficiency by the method of characteristics.<br/> As the results, good correlations among inlet pressure, natural frequency and volumetric efficiency for a complicated intake system with resonator, was confirmed. And the optimum design method of the resonant system which had the overall high and flat characteristic of volumetric efficiency was proposed.<br/>
