Thermal fatigue charateristics of plasma sprayed zirconia thermal barrier coating layers were studied. The thermal fatigue behaviors of plasma sprayed coating layers are affected by coating layers shape, temperature and sprayed powders. Also pores and not molten powders influence thermal fatigue behavior. There are many relations among the coation layer life, pores and metallic element oxidation in the composite layer. In three layer structure, generally, delamination of coating originated in composition layer, but in two layer, interface of bond layer-substrate.
