N-Vinyl Phthalimidine과 ㅡMaleic Anhydride의 Copolymerization Kinetics에 관한 연구

The preparation and copolymerization of N-vinyl phthalimidine have been investigated. The monomer was prepared by dehydrochlorination of N-(β-chloroethyl) phthalimidine. Polymerization was carried out in the presence of radical initiator in solution. Copolymerization with maleic anhydride was carried out in acetone by benzoyl peroxide. It was found that the component of the copolymer is alternating form. The monomer reactivity ratios calculated from the copolymerization data of N-vinylphth-alimidine (M1) and maleic anhydride (M2) were r₁=0.035, r₂=0.001. (insolvent as acetone.)

Copolyesters containing oxybenzoate as a rigid rod molecule and methylene group and dimethyl tetramethyl disiloxane as flexible spacers were prepared by room temperature solution polymerization for the purpose of the developement of polymeric composite materials. The thermal properties and the characteristics of the polymers were investigated by DSC and a polarizing microscope. The polymers may be formed nematic liquid crystal phase, and the thermodynamic characteristics of their mesophase to isotropic phase transition could be explained on the basis of its structural features.
굼벵이와 누에 번데기의 아미노산 및 지방산 조성에 대한 연구

Physical and chemical properties, fatty acid compositions and amino acid compositions of the white grub (Mimela lucidula) oil and the chrysalis of silk worm (Bombix mory) oil were investigated by a gas chromatograph and an amino acid auto analyzer. The results were as follows. 1. White grub oil had refractive index 1.4620, smoke point 170℃, iodine value 116.5, saponification value 183 and acid value 3.4 in its physical and chemical properties, and in the case of chrysalis of silk worm it had refractive index 1.4720, smoke point 165℃, iodine value 127.6, saponification value 190 and acid value 4.3, as the results, both oil would be semidrying oil, higher unsaturated fatty acid. 2. The contents of crude fat were 2.25% in white grub and 16.75% in chrysalis of silk worm, and the crude protein contents 10.80% in white grub and 21.23% in chrysalis of silk worm 3. Fatty acid compositions of white grub oil identified by a gas chromatograph were 33.10% of oleic acid, 29.47% linolenic acid and so on, and in chrysalis of silk worm, the compositions were 32.20% of oleic acid, 30.46% of linolenic acid and so on. 4. Total amounts of amino acid were 47,090㎎/100g in white grub, the compositions were 7,7l0㎎/100g of glutamic acid and so on, and in chrysalis of silk worm 41,580㎎/100g, and the compositions were 5, 450㎎/100g of glutamic acid and so on. 5. Total amounts of essential amino acid were 2,065㎎/gN in white grub and 2,610㎎/gN in chrysalis of silk worm.

The free radical copolymerization of N-vinyl phthalimdine and maleic anhydride was conducted in dimethyl formamide using benzoyl peroxide as an initiator. Copolymers formed were found to be consisted of the two monomer units in 1:1 mole ratio. Morever, copolymerization rate was the maximum when the feed composition was 1:1 in mole ratio. Activation energy of the copolymerization was found to be 4.1 kcal/mole. Thermal and solubility behaviers of the copolymer were also examined.
Polytrop Blue B에 依한 徵量 Ti의 吸光度定量에 關한 硏究

Polytrop Blue B Was proved to help determine Spectrophotometrically even little bit amount of titanium from 0.02 to 1.6 ppm. We dropped 5ml of 4.8×10??M polytrop Blue B solution in to 30ml of the titanium solution, and that PH was adjusted to 3.20 with o.25M sodium acetate solution and 0.25M perchloric acid. After the dilution to 50ml with water, we measured the absorbance at 573mμ. 3hours' standing did not change a bit in the absorbance. Interference was noticed from iron, aluminum, Oxalate ion very small amount of E D T A. The mole ratio of titanium to polytrop Blue B. in the complex under given condition was 1 : 1.
Ammonium 1-Pyrrolidinecarbodithionate에 依한 徵量 Chromium(VI)의 吸光度 定量에 關한 硏究

The spectrophotometric determination of microamounts of chromium(VI) with ammonium 1-pyrrolidine carbodithioate (APDC) was studied. The recomended procedure is as follows : To a sample solution containing up to 35㎍ of chromium(VI), 3㎖ of 12M hydrochloric acid solution and 1㎖ of the 0.5% APDC solution were added and the resulted solution was diluted with water to about 20㎖. The solution was heated for 3 minutes in a boiling water bath. After cooling the solution to room temperature under flowing tap water, the solution was transfered to a 25㎖ volumetric flask and diluted to the mark with water. The absorbance of the complex was measured at 265 nm against the reagent blank. The absorption spectrum of the chromium-PDC complex exhibited the maxima at 225 and 265 nm, the latter of which was chosen for a measuring wavelength because of the low absorbance for the reagent blank and of the good reproducibility. The absorbance of the complex in 1.4M HCI solution remained constant for 6 hours. Beer's law was held up to 35㎍/25㎖ for Cr (VI) at 265 nm.

This study presents a new method for mathematical simulation of equilibrium stage operations. The procedure solves component material equations with Thomas algorithm and induces to θ-method in order to decrease error. Summation equations are handled with Newton-Raphson method. Therefore, the method can be used for all types of equilibrium stage processes. Additionally, the use of the method presented in this study insures solutions which are stable and more rapid without complexibility. In order to validate the proposed method, the results comparing rigorous method with short-cut method are as follows; 1) convergence is stable and more rapid than others. 2) about 10% error in distillate and bottoms composition of each component. 3) about 13% error in total theoretical number of plates. 4) about 17% error in the feed plate. 5) the procedures are presented for calculations to design distillation column.
