The study is diagnosis about fatigue failure phenomenon of heating coil spring (sup9) and heat treatment method that is used to crusher. Because more than 80~90% of damage announcement of breakdown of machine and construction is been caused in fatigue present state, fatigue failure became important leading person at design. Calculated design load is imposed repeatedly that fatigue breakdown is safe. Is phenomenon that change load is imposed in the construction continuously. Used coil spring applies heat 30minute by Quenching temperature 86 0℃ if see manufacturing process and temperature of gasoline of 50℃ keep after quench that know tempering a 460℃ 90minute a product be. If doto apply heat 950℃ material at rolling process historically before quenching, austenite formation clay pipe being done AGS(Austenite Grain Size) by 2.5~4 become. Apply heat quenching 30minute by 820℃ by improvement method and after quench that keep 50℃ in oil tempering if do 450℃, 90minute spring ideal formation sorbite formation of the river form and condition that satisfy most more than AGS 7 appeared. Also, we can secure authoritativeness through MT since shot peening processing.

This paper is to provide some of the analysis procedures of the FAD(Failure Assessment Diagram), which is applied th the safety test of the atomic pressure vessels and other structures. Harrison proposed R-6 Diagram, and Bloom developed the method of DPFAD(Deformation Plasticty Failure Assessment Diagram). Analysis of J-integration of the plastic materials give the failure test curve for the materials with serious work hardening effect. J value was obtained form both FEM(Finite Element Mothod) and the experiment using compact type specimen for J=JIC, and the results were compared. In this study, the results of analysis using DPFAD and the factors affecting DPFAD in Static fatigue and fracture were reviewed. It was shown that the concept of DPFAD can be applied to test the safety of the structures.
Zr-Fe-Cu 신합금의 제조공정에 따른 부식 및 기계적 특성에 관한 연구

Effects of cold working and final aging on the corrosion resistance of Zr-1Fe-0.2Cu alloy were investigated. Microhardness tests were conducted for all heat-treated specimens and tensile tests were also carried out for some selected samples. Corrosion resistance was observed to be degraded by the introduction of cold rolling conducted before aging probably due to the promotion of precipitate formation. The corrosion resistance was also decreased during aging mainly because the size of precipitate was increased. The microstructure of heat-treated samples was investigated using SEM and TEM. And, from EDS and SADP analyses only one kind of precipitate, Zr₃Fe, was identified to exist in the heat-treated samples. The short final aging at a high temperature (580℃) was thought to be desirable for the mechanical properties.
