This study analyzed distribution density in relation sea-bed waste in the coastal fishing grounds of Jeju island by bottom trawl of 9 times for three days in April and september 2018. On the survey for three days many sea-bed wastes were collected at the coastal fishing grounds of Jeju island. The kinds of collected sea-bed waste were the fish traps, the gill nets, the trawl nets, the long lines, woods, the purse seine nets, plastics and so on. Distribution density in relation with sea-bed waste of the survey area was 20.1∼57.4 kg/km2, and which proportion of the kinds on total sea-bed waste were that the fish trap was 65.4% (89 fish trap of 226.8 kg/ ㎢), unavailable net was 19.6%, plastic fish trap was 0.3% and the others was 14.7%. Of the fish traps the broken fish trap were 55 (62%) and the intact fish trap were 34 (38%). As a result the survey of sea bed waste at the survey of 2018 the coastal fishing grounds of Jeju island was polluted by the sea-bed waste with 2017 survey and we need continuous monitoring to get rid of environments pollution about the total sea area of Jeju island.
