This paper presents the development of a cleaner for curbstone cleaning purpose. The cleaner sprays high pressure water jet and cleans the curbstone repeatedly along the section. The structure of the cleaner is divided into two sections: water supply vehicle section and the section for curbstone cleaner. The cleaner has two DC motors and can move forward, backward, left and right side. The cleaning device is composed of nozzles to spray high pressure water jet onto curbstone. In this study, the 3D modeling of the cleaner is made using CAD software and the prototype is also made for the selection of optimum nozzle shape and size.

This Study suggests small movable batch treatment system of dredged soil for dredge treatment of deposit soil generated from rain water tube and designed vacuum silo sorting separation device which unitizes particularly vacuum silo, first stage sorting separator and conveyor. The vacuum silo sorting separation device is composed of storage tank, transferring screw, vacuum gate, screen bar, screen bar cleaner and vacuum discharging device. And by conducting mechanical and dynamic simulation of drive mechanism through 3D-CAD modelling determined specifications. Following this study, we will design drum screen type second sorter, decanter type dehydration device and auxiliary devices waste water tank and pump. And based on this design we will make prototype model and carry out field test.

Smart mobile robot is a kind of Intelligent Robot. It means that operates manipulate autonomously and recognize the external environment. Smart mobile robot moving mechanism has many type and the type depend on the robot shape or purpose. Recently, research on the moving mechanism has been actively in many area. The moving mechanism divided to wheel type, crawler type, walking type, other type and the moving type choose by the kind of robot or the purpose robot. In this paper, describe the kind of moving mechanism on the smart mobile robot and the technical trend of moving mechanism of smart mobile robot.

We selected EV's components and specification for the manufacturing of electric vehicles. and We made electric vehicle directly. Typical feature of our EV is method of motor drive. Two motors are installed to each rear wheel. So when our EV turn the corner, we need to control at each rear wheels. we measured steering angle, motor rpm and vehicle speed using DAQ. and We made program that control each wheel operation dependent on vehicle speed and steering angle. We used LabVIEW for date maesurment and making program.

Self-controlled restrictors are designed for hydraulic bearing of grinding wheel spindle. Typical hydrostatic journal bearing with the designed restrictor is analytically modeled. According to the model, the affect of operation parameters, such as, initial cross distance, supply pressure, pre-load of spring, and clearance between spindle and housing, on bearing stiffness are analyzed. From the results of the analysis, the optimum conditions of operation parameters that maximize the bearing stiffness are estimated.

In this paper, we proposed an automatic packing mechanism of one station concept for fastener objects where the continuous work is performed in a finite space. The proposed packing mechanism is composed of supporting frame, feeding supply, air shower device, clamping/opening device, batch charging device, sealing/cutting device and supply adjusting device. And, these mechanisms have been modularized through mechanical, dynamical, structural and fluid optimized design using the SMO(SimDesigner Motion) analysis module. Also, the virtual prototype was carried out using the 3-D CAD program. The packing process is consisted performed in the order of feeding, clamping, bottom sealing, cutting, opening, object charging, closing and the upper sealing. And the time of these cycles were designed to be completed in 15-20 seconds. This packing mechanism will be created as a prototype in the near future. In addition, it will be applied to the production scenes after going through a field test for the validation of performance.

In this paper, we proposed the automatic cutting mechanism of the perforation pipes in an automobile muffler. This cutting mechanism makes continuous work possible, because it performs the batch work via the sequential operation of loading, feeding, cutting, and discharging. The proposed cutting mechanism consists of the frame unit, escape unit, turning unit, feeding unit, vision system, clamping unit, spindle/cutting unit and cooling unit. And, these mechanisms have been modularized through mechanical, dynamical and structural optimized design using the SMO (SimDesigner Motion) analysis module. Also, the virtual prototype was carried out using the 3-D CAD program. The cutting process cycle is performed in the order of loading, vision processing, feeding, clamping, cutting and discharging. And the cycle time for cutting one piece was designed to be completed in four seconds.
