This paper describes an approach for the reduction of structure-borne noise in the passenger car compartment. By using ACSTAP. structural acoustic coupling analysis program developed by S.N.U., the sensitivity analysis was performed, and the sensitive positions for reducing vehicle interior noise level were selected. To verify the results, some experiments were carried out for modified structure by adding mass and there was approximately 8dB of reduction in SPL at target frequency. For the practical application. damping materials were placed on mass added points and more attenuation in SPL was obtained.<br/>
