        아트 메이크업에 표현된 일루젼(Illusion)의 이미지

        The study is to learn how illusion is expressed in art makeup, to provide a turning point in art makeup design and to expand new visual experiences which help creating artistic and creative art makeup design. The results are as follows. First, visual amusement is expressed through transformation and distortion of shapes. Distortion of line, shape and form in art makeup provides excitement by harmonizing with curve of human body and arousing fun imagination. Second, movement in illusion arouses confusion to observers through dynamic images and senses. Art makeup is fixed on human body but expressed that it moves in relations with the surrounding. Third, different systems are integrated and accept each other to express ambiguity. Various images and shapes and collision of concepts appearing in the space time express new ambiguity of human body. Fourth, creativity expresses the third human body by integrating human body with other subjects. Different shapes accept each other in new ways to express unimaginable creative shape.

        페이스 아트 메이크업에 표현된 조형언어

        This study has investigated diverse aspects and expression methods in inspiring face art makeup design. Focusing on expression of emotional images and blank spaces in reminiscent landscape, face art makeup has been expressed. Then, the following results have been obtained: First, time and constraints were overcome. They unwittingly disappear as you follow beautiful scenery in memory. The images which exceed time and space constraints have been expressed. Second, bright and open visual space was produced. Under the visual space which links author, art pieces and face space with the outside, it has played a role of communication through open space. Third, target images were transferred. In face art markup design style, the perceived images differ by observer because of different experiences and empathy. The unpainted blank spaces have the effect of transmitting images. Fourth, it is the thought of blank space. The formative art expressed in face art represents an author’s contemplation depending on external format. The blank spaces contain a lot of stories to think about.

        복식에 표현된 큐비즘 (Cubism) 에 관한 연구

        Cubism has played a great role to change traditional concept of art and visual of poeple as daveloped into one of new art styles. It has avoided three dimensional perspectives and reformed the concept of time and space. It expresses objects with geometric shape by simplifying and reconstructing the objects after taking them apart. This has the effect of simultaneous vision and transparency and brings in collage by combining geometric image and visual elements. The results of the study as follows: First, the geometric shape expresses straight lines, curves, faces, and cubics by simplifying the objects. In fashion, it expresses circles, triangles, squares with a cloth. This shows visual changes as three dimensional space moves. Second, simultaneity disassembles and recontructs the objects. It tries to understand the inernal shape with method of disassembling and makes visions coexist. In so doing, cubists adopt simultaneity for expressing shapes. In fashion, it expresses new items through disassembling or combining with other intems. Third, transparency simplifies cubics by duplicating with transparent flats and crosses contour lines for reconstructing the simplified objects. This implies broader spatial order. It allows people to perceive penetration of layed clothes. Fourth, collage expresses geometric shape by adding visual elements(concrete image and color). It uses concrete image with paper, letters, cloth, etcs., witch is not related to painting, and introduces various color. In fashion, it uses dolls, postcards, feathers, metals, plastics, for patchwork.

        십장생문(十長生文)을 이용한 훼이스페인팅의 조형성

        The calligraphy has been simplified with the longevity-symbolized characters in the painting of Sipjangsaeng (the ten longevity symbols) and applied to art makeup. Then, the following results have been obtained: First, the beauty of moderation (known as ‘true beauty of Korea’) has been expressed, using simple design and colors. Second, the beauty of modesty has been expressed. To express the beauty of modesty among commoners through the painting of Sipjangsaeng, modest Hanji (traditional Korean paper) has been used. Third, the beauty of blank space has been expressed. Comfort and relaxation have been expressed by partially painting Sipjangsaeng characters on the face. Fourth, the beauty of liberty has been expressed. The painting of Sipjangsaeng contains Koreans’ pure and humble souls regardless of its artistic value. True freedom which excels time and space constraints has been expressed. This paper has attempted to give help in generating new idea and concept in art makeup design and search for possibility to create new design from Korean tradition and values.

        현대패션에 표현된 에콜로지에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the man characteristics of the environmentalism expressed in contemporary fashion. i.e. `eco-look`. They can be categorized into naturalism, symbolism, primitiveness, and concern about recycling. First, naturalistic tendency can be found in through the method of some contemporary eco-looks, which are using natural colors, harmonisation of the colors in similarity and in controst, and expressing in a realistic manner some natural entities or use some ornaments represnting them. Such tends easily let people to feel the clothes unified with the nature and human beings. Secondly, some contemporary eco-looks express environmentalistic ideas, for examples, the idea for protection of the nature or the idea against pollution of the earch and destruction of (human) nature, in a symbolistic way. Thirdly, primitiveness is one of the most characteristic feature in contemporary eco-looks. It can be found in some eco-looks using primitive or original images of Africa and underdeveloped countries. It reflects the human desire to go back to the nature or to the unity with the nature. Finally, recycled materials are commonly used in eco-look. Patchwork and handmade knits are popular methods for this mode. They implicates the idea of pragmatism and simplicity in fashion. One Conclusion of the paper on eco-look ; fashoin design which can be itself and important environment of human beings has become a very efficient and significant tool to express the idea of ecology.

        바디아트에 표현된 에코디자인 (Eco-Design) 에 관한 연구

        This study was intended to propose the future direction for ecological design of the body art to develop under the awareness of its importance, thereby providing an opportunity for the accompanying design to develop. As a result, the following findings were obtained: First, eco-design alerts us to the seriousness of the global environment problems such as natural destruction, global warming and the like by expressing social responsibility for them. Second, naturalness in the works of eco-design conveys messages such as natural protection, nature-friendliness, environment-friendliness and the like Third, Eco-design expresses solidarity that human beings should become unified for the earth, which it should become unified for them. Fourth, sustainability makes us know about the fact that this environmental problem of the earth is not only the problem limited to the present but also the problem to be inherited to the posterity in the future.
