본 조사는 1989년 6월 4일부터 9월 30일까지 광주직할시에 위치한 무등산 일대의 하계 조류에 대하여 3개지역으로 구분 조사한 것이다. 관찰결과 무등산의 하계 조류는 총 8목27과45종이었다. 구역별 3개 지역에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 제1지역 (산장-고막재-규봉암) - 6목 22과 28종 2. 제2지역 (규봉암-장불재-산장) - 5목 21과 28종 3. 제3지역 (토끼봉-중봉-증심사-지산유원지 - 6목 19과 28종 이 관찰 되었으며 우점종으로는 붉은머리오목눈이가 전 조사 지역의 30.9%를 차지했고 어치 13.0%, 오목눈이 8.1%, 직박구리 7.3% 순이었다. An analysis of the regional community structure of the summer birds on Mt.Moodung was observed over a period of the summer, from June to September, 1989. Observation the birds of passing migrant, summer visitor, and resident was carried out at various levels in three different areas around Mt.Moodung. The areas and results are as follow. 1. As the altitude hightened in the area of northeast side of this mountain, Sanjiang-Komacjae-Gyubongam………9km(499 individuals of 28 spe-cies), deciduous forest community(dominance tree-Quercus grosseserrate) 2. In the area of southwest, Gyubongam-Jaugbuljae-Tokibong-Baramjae-Sanjang………6km(432 individuals of 28 species), deciduous forest commu-nity(Sasamor pha pur purcens var. bolialis var. bolialis-over 800m, Stewartia Koreana-below 700m) 3. Covered with southwest and westnorth, Tokibong-Chungbong-Jeungshim Temple-Jisan resort………9km(522 individuals of 28 species), deciduo-us forest and glass field because of fire(Arundinella hirta, Hiscanthus sinensis) The percentages of species diversity(for the total of all species), evenness, and dominance were calculated to show indices for related abundunce of species at the certain side of forest community.
