요추 추간판 탈출증 및 척추관 협착으로 인한 하지 근력 저하 및 보행 장애 환자에 대한 추나요법을 포함한 한방복합치료 치험 1예

The study reports the clinical case of a patient with lower extremity weakness and gait disturbance treated with Korean medicine treatments including Chuna therapy. The patient suffered lower extremity weakness and gait disturbance with diagnosis of lumbar disk herniation and spinal stenosis. As a treatment, the doctor applied Chuna therapy, herbal medicine, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, cupping and moxa. The effect of treatment was evaluated by numeral rating scale (NRS), self-walkable distance, functional independence measure (FIM), Oswestry disability index (ODI) and manual muscle test (MMT). NRS decreased from 6 to 4 at the leg. Self-walkable distance increased from 0 m to 10 m, FIM increased 85 to 96 points while ODI decreased 64% to 54%. MMT of hip flex and knee extension improved from grade 3+, grade 3 to grade 4, respectively. Korean medicine treatment can be effective for patients who suffer lower extremity weakness and gait disturbance due to lumbar disk herniation and spinal stenosis. Further clinical studies are required to verify these findings. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2021;31(2):99-108)

논문 : 공간구문론 공간구문론(space syntax)을 적용한 울산시 도시 공간 연구

본 연구는 공간구문론을 이용한 정량적 분석을 울산광역시에 적용하여 대상 도시 공간 구조의 특성을 파악하고 이를 통하여 울산의 도시설계를 위한 기초자료를 축적하고자 한다. 최근 들어 울산은 급격한 도시개발에 따른 지역 간 개발 격차발생으로 인하여 도시 내부 지역 간의 분리 현상이 논란이 되고 있다. 본 논문은 공간구문론을 채택하여 객관적인 데이터를 바탕으로 도시 공간 구조를 분석하고 도시발전에 따른 지역 발전을 고찰하여 각 지역의 특성차를 분석하고자 한다. 연구 대상지역은 도시 전반의 가로체계 및 울산의 1도심과 4부도심 지역으로 선정하였다. 이들 중심지역에 관한 도시 구조 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 1도심과 4부도심간의 공간 구조적 불균형이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2) 1도심과 4부도심 연결도로의 비효율성이 도시 구조적 측면에서는 지역 간 이분화의 원인을 제공하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같은 연구 결과를 토대로 울산의 도시공간구조에 관한 정성적 측면의 후속 연구를 추가 진행하고자 한다. The purpose of this research is to make a quantitative analysis of urban spaces in Ulsan. Since 1960, Ulsan has been developed rapidly and dramatically and the problem of a separate phenomenon among different area in city was increasingly controversial. This paper therefore demonstrates the characteristic features of 5 areas in the aspect of urban spatial structure by adopting Space Syntax. The research object areas are Ulsan city road network and 5 main area. The results of urban structure analysis are followed by; 1) Discovering urban spatial difference between five area in the effectiveness of movements and the hierarchy of space. 2) The structural inefficiencies of the road connecting the 5 area causes the spatial differentiation between 5 regions respectively. These findings are expected to be used for the urban development planning of Ulsan and to be helpful for understanding urban space structure.

척수손상으로 인한 운동 및 감각 기능 손상에 대한 전침의 효과: 체계적 문헌 고찰 및 메타 분석

Objectives This review investigates the effectiveness of electroacupuncture for impairment of motor and sensory functions after spinal cord injury. Methods The databases used for the search were PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), National Digital Science Library (NDSL), Koreanstudies Information Service System (KISS), Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), KMBASE, and Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System (OASIS). The literature were searched using a total of 9 domestic and foreign databases. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) using electroacupuncture as an intervention was selected. The selected studies are analyzed the risk of bias through Cochrane risk-ofbias tool, and meta-analysis was perfomed using RevMan version 5.3 (The Nordic Cochrane Centre, The Cochrane Collaboration, Copenhagen, Denmark). Results A total of 14 RCT studies were selected through 9 domestic and foreign databases, and analyzed. As a result of meta-analysis, when electroacupuncture was performed together with rehabilitation treatment or western drug treatment, it was effective in the recovery of motor and sensory functions of spinal cord injury patients. Conclusions This review suggests that electroacupuncture can be applied as an effective treatment for the recovery of motor and sensory functions of spinal cord injuries. However, there are several limitations, including the small number and heterogeneity of the included studies, as well as their poor methodological quality. 턱관절음양균형요법과 도침치료를 병행한 한방치료를 이용한 경부 근긴장이상증 치험 1례

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Korean medical treatment with FCST and Miniscalpel- Acupuncture on patient with cervical dystonia. Methods: In this study, A patient with cervical dystonia was admitted to ○○ Korean medicine Hospital from Oct 20th, 2020 to Nov 28th, 2020. During the admission period, the patient was treated by Korean medical treatment (acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, herb medicine, etc.), especially using FCST and Miniscalpel-Acupuncture. The Toronto Western Spasmodic Torticollis Rating Scale (TWSTRS), the Tsui score and CDIP (Cervical Dystonia Impact Profile)-58 were used for measuring the Cervical Dystonia. Results: After treatment for 40 days, the TWSTRS showed a decrease from 52.75 to 13.75, the Tsui score also decreased from 17 to 3 and the CDIP-58 score decreased from 64.1 to 25.5. Conclusions: These results showed that Korean medical treatment especially using FCST and Miniscalpel-Acupuncture may have an effect on reducing symptoms of cervical dystonia. But the further researches are needed.
