대학생의 평생교육 프로그램 운영의 효율성 제고에 관한 고찰 -경북 A대 학생의 수요분석을 중심으로-

본 연구는 대학생의 평생교육 프로그램 수요분석을 통해 운영의 효율성을 제고하고자 하였다. 연구방법은 구조화된 설문지를 활용하여 설문조사를 실시하고 통계 프로그램 SPSS 22.0을 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평생교육 프로그램이 단순히 취미 이상을 넘어 취업교육에서 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있어 그만큼 전문적인 프로그램을 요구하고 있다. 둘째, 평생교육에 참여하는 여성의 대부분은 새로운 지식과 기술을 습득하고 취업에 도움이 되기 위해 평생교육 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 때문에 평생교육에 참여하는 여성의 대부분은 뚜렷한 목적을 가지고 평생교육에 참여하고 있다. 셋째, 프로그램 개설 시 양적 질적 내용을 고려한 개설이 요구되고 있다. 넷째, 프로그램 참여는 직업 활동을 고려하여 프로그램에 수강하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해, 현재 평생교육에 대한 교육 수요가 점차 증가하고 있고, 교육적 수요에 있어 다양한 학습자가 공존하고 있다. 학습 수요가 증가함에 따라 평생교육의 중요성에 대해서도 충분히 인식하고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 앞으로 수요자를 위해 대학은 체계적인 평생교육이 요구되고 있으며, 학습욕구는 평생교육을 통해 이루어져야 한다. This study aimed to improve the direction of operation through the analysis of demand for continuing education programs of adult college students. As for the research method, a survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire and analysis was conducted using the statistical program SPSS 22.0. To summarize the results, first, continuing education programs are more than just hobbies and play an important part in employment education. For that reason, they are demanding professional programs. Second, it appears that most of the women who participate in continuing education programs thirst for acquiring new knowledge and skills which help them to find a job. Therefore, most of the women who participate in continuing education with a clear purpose. Third, programs are required to be opened with a full consideration of quantitative and qualitative contents. Fourth, registration of programs is determined by consideration of desired occupational activities. From the above research results, currently, demand for continuing education is gradually and continuously increasing and there are various learners. As the demand for learning increases, it is recognized and fully aware of the importance of continuing education. In the future, universities need to establish systematic continuing education programs for consumers and the desire to learn must be fulfilled through continuing education.

대학과 지역사회 평생교육정책 변천에 관한 연구: 국가 평생학습진흥종합계획을 중심으로

이 연구는 우리나라의 대학과 지역사회 관련 평생교육 정책의 시기적 변천을 살펴보는데 연구목적이 있다. 이 연구는 문헌연구방법을 활용하여 이루어졌다. 연구자는 교육부에서 5년마다 발간하는 평생학습진흥종합계획과 평생교육정책 관련 연구물 등을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학 평생교육정책은 초기의 대안적 고등교육기회를 제공하는 정책에서 점차 대학의 체제를 성인친화적으로 개편하여 성인학습자에게 정규 학위과정을 운영하는 정책으로 전환되었다. 둘째, 지역평생교육정책은 지역평생교육의 인프라를 확충ㆍ강화하여 지역주민들의 평생학습기회 제공을 활성화하는 정책이 추진되었다. 이처럼 우리나라의 대학과 지역평생교육 정책은 시기별로 정책의 강조점이 달라져왔으며 이는 해당 시대의 사회적 요구를 반영하고 있다. The purpose of this study is to examine the temporal changes of lifelong education policies related to universities and local communities in Korea. The literature research method was used as the literature research method. The Lifelong Learning Promotion Comprehensive Plan published by the Ministry of Education every five years and the research report related to lifelong education policy were analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. First, the university lifelong education policy gradually changed from the policy of providing alternative higher education opportunities to the policy of operating degree courses for adult learners. Second, as for the local lifelong education policy, policies to expand and strengthen the infrastructure of local lifelong education were promoted. As such, Korea's university and local lifelong education policies have changed their emphasis by period, reflecting the social needs of the time.
