공간효과모형을 이용한 한류가 한국의 FDI에 미치는 효과

This research analyzed how Korean wave casts an effect on Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) by means of us ing a spacial effect model. The used data is the panel data combined with time series data from 1 995 to 2014 and cross-section data of 47 countries. In the analysis on the in fluences of Korean wave on FDI, in the spacial model targeting the whole nations , spacial lag model coefficient p and spacial error model coefficient ㅅ appeared to have a meaningful positive(+) relation statistically a ll in 1% of level, which can be interpreted that Korean FDI has a positive effect on FDI as to the nat ion and FDI to neighboring nations. Cultural contents exports(CO N) meaning Korean wave appeared t o be a positive(+) meaningful result in 1% meaningful level only in OLS, and GDP per capita expressing market size showed a positive(+) meaningful result in spacial lag model and spacial error model but FEX appeared not to be meaningful statistically in all the models. As the result of the ana lysis by dividing all the nations by the region, it appeared that especially in Asian area Korean wave affected FDI the highest, which means that it could succeed in As ian area which has less relative repulsion on Korean culture compared with Western culture. And it app eared that Korean FDI in Asia and Middle East has an affirmative effect on FDI of the nation and FDI to neighboring nations. So it is necessary to develop the contents of integrated values targeting Asian area.
