미디어 기술의 발전이 시각 예술의 대중적 커뮤니케이션에 미친 영향

The development of science and technology has a goal to improve the quality of human life and culture in the end. Accordingly, it has basically pubic-friendly attitude. Also, the development of media technology pursues the public-centered essence. Recently, it develops into the communication-oriented media. As to the development to the public essence and communication-oriented media, it means that it develops into the media of public communication in the long run. Media art applied media technology, a genre of visual art, reflects the social ? cultural meaning and purport in the media technology like `popular communication` and develops from the communication and coexistence of the general public as if the past fine arts tried to change positively by the technology and had a path of coexistence.

Computers, developed on the ergonomic basis, are- without a doubt- rooting as an indispensable communication medium in this era together with Internet. The web-based interface design can be defined as a new design genre. Its goal it to develop an efficient communication medium, enabling humans to react interactively on hardware and Internet. In these days of the rapid development of the Internet, it is the top-priority and most important task, to study how - in terms of design and visual aspects - information can be exchanged smoothly between computer and user. In contrary to conventional media like newspapers and broadcasting, limited to a one-way transfer only, enabling the interactive communication between company and customer is the utmost precondition for web design in the Internet era. The initiation of interactive communication in the digital era, signifies that customers not only absorb information passively, but instead personalize and customize the various services offered. Finally, customers plan, present and demand the services actively to their own taste. In this dissertation, I would like to analyze the basic character of visual communication media, e.g. Icons, Avatars und Illustrations. Another emphasis will be put on ascertaining how quickly and efficiently users absorb information depending on optimally adjusted layouts.

Interactive media art can be said to be art in which audience participation and communication through interaction is considered to be most important Previously the role of the audience is to unilately accepted the artist`s message, whereas the role of the audience observing interaction media has been changed to the point of the producer, actively participating in completing the artwork through interaction. This study analyzed the interaction and communication between the audience and interactive media artworks from the audience`s point of view (in the view of reception theory) by the investigation of the case of the artworks that were on exhibition. Employing the exhibition interpretation medium with docent explanation and wall text was experienced how to improve audience`s communication when they watched the artworks. The docent explained the intention of artists and their artworks in the manner of storytelling and induced the audience to focus naturally on the artworks. As the result, the role of the exhibition interpretation medium was found to be significantly high in enhancing the degree of emotional communication with the artworks, so in this study I attempted to present that the role of the docent is an important factor for enhancing the audience participation and emotional communication through interaction with the artworks.
