In an electric water pump, the conventional PCB components and ceramic PCB components were modeled to perform the thermal analysis. When the results of the thermal analysis come out, the distribution of component temperature of the two modelling is understood and the cooling effect of the model was analyzed. The thermal conductivity of ceramic PCB is 5 times increased than conventional PCB. The thickness of ceramic PCB is 0.5 times reduced than conventional PCB. The element maximum temperature of ceramic PCB is 19℃ reduced than conventional PCB and the element average temperature of ceramic PCB is 22℃ reduce than conventional PCB.
