CAD 프로그램을 활용한 나로호(KSLV-I) 발사체 상단부 시스템 하니스 개발

KARI (Korea Aerospace Research Institute) had developed the KSLV-I (Korea Space Launch Vehicle-I, Naro Space Vehicle) and successfully launched on 30th January 2013.The KSLV-I was launched to insert the Naro scientific satellite (STSAT-2C) into the earth low orbit (300~1500 km). After finishing the development of system harness with physical mock-up for Korean Sounding Rocket program, the new design concept for system harness was adopted to the development process for KSLV-I with the digital mock-up using by 3D CAD modeling. The newly adopted design process could reduce the total development time and the system harness re-work time to improve the schedule management system of the launch vehicle. In this paper, we discuss about the development process of KSLV-I system harness and the effect therein using 3D CAD tool.
