Probiotics에 의한 해수양식어의 성장촉진 및 항균효과

해수양식어 전용의 probiotics를 개발하기 위하여 저온성 및 내염성의 특성을 갖는 균주를 김치로부터 분리하였다. 분리한 3종의 균주를 동정한 결과 MG19는 Lactobacillus brevis, MG89는 Enterococcus faecium, MG208는 Lactobacillus plantarum 으로 확인되었다. 분리된 3종 균주의 중화된 농축 배양여액을 사용하여 해수어 병원성세균인 Edwardsiella tarda, Vibrio cholerae, Pseudomonas fluorescens에 대한 항균력을 시험한 결과 대조약물과 비슷한 효과를 나타냈으며 각 분리균주와 해수어 병원성세균과의 혼합배양시 48시간 이후 병원균의 증식이 상당히 저해되었다. 해수어 병원균중 가장 피해를 많이 주는 Edwardsiella tarda와 3종의 분리균주를 동시에 혼합배양 하였을 경우 24시간 이후 Edwardsiella tarda의 증식을 완전히 저해하였다. 또한 3종의 분리균주를 동결건조한 균원료를 사료에 0.1% 첨가하여 넙치에 매일 투여한 후 50일이 경과한 다음 체중 증가를 조사한 결과 대조군에 비해 50%의 증체율을 보였다. 이러한 결과로부터 3종의 분리균주는 해수어 전용 probiotics로서 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 예상된다. For the development of probiotics in aquaculture of marine organisms, three strains having psychrophilic and salt tolerant characteristics were isolated from Kimchi. Among the isolated strains, MG19, MG89 and MG208 were identified as Lactobacillus brevis, Enterococcus faecium and Lactobacillus plantarum, respectively. The neutralized culture broth of isolated strains were tested in order to evaluate the antibacterial activity, which showed high antibacterial activity against Edwardsiella tarda, Vibrio cholerae and Pseudomonas fluorescens. In mixed culture of pathogens and isolated strain, pathogens were significantly inhibited after 2 days of cultivation but the isolated strains showed normal growth. When the Dewardsiellatarda was cultured with three isolated strains, its growth was completely inhibited after 24 hours of cultivation. The effect of isolated three strains as probiotics was investigated based on the changes in body weight of aquacultured flounder. After 50 days feeding trial, it was found that the mean body weight gain of the tested group fed freezedried isolated cells was significantly greater than that of the control group. These results suggest that these isolated strains can play an important role as probiotics in aquaculture.
