These days, 3D printing has received increasing attention due to its versatile applications, and many studies have been performed to broaden its application area. One of advantages of 3D printing is that personalized items can be manufactured with low costs. In this study, personalized fashion glasses were developed using 3D printing by customizing the size of glasses according to human’s face characteristics. Structural safety for the 3D printed glasses was also investigated through finite element analysis, considering the effect of anisotropic material properties of the printed products. The fashion glasses were then successfully fabricated using 3D printing with personalized sizes and allowable structural safety.

Hydraulic hose can be divided with low pressure, medium pressure, and high pressure hose according to applied pressure. Power steering system in passenger car can be divided with high pressure and low pressure hose. This study deals with the life prediction for high pressure hose to be given impulse pressure which was generated in turning the car. To adjust with external and internal condition, impulse pressure and oil temperature need to be controlled with impulse test system. The result, which is only controlled with the pressure and oil temperature, adapted Calibrated Accelerated Life Test(CALT) method to predict the life of high pressure hose and analyzed the swagging part by finite element method during impulse test.
