Normal cranes cannot be used to move the fan inside the high-rise factories. Due to the size of the fan and safety accidents, there is a need for a structure capable of lifting and transporting. In this study, the safety of the structure was evaluated by considering the center of gravity of the fan and the effect of the fan being tilted up. An analysis of the buckling was performed by hand calculation. Nonlinear analysis was performed using ABAQUS to evaluate the safety of the structure. The safety factor for buckling is above 4.0 and the safety factor for stress is calculated to be 1.31 under the worst load distribution conditions.

In recent years, manufacturing industry takes a lot of significant change - such as Industry4.0, SMART factory, and IoT(Internet of things). To satisfy their requirements, many cutting-edge machineries are provided to enhance manufacturing industry's productivity. Also, IT technologies are applied to many machinery part and improve their functions. In Korea, Chung-buk plays an important role in machinery part industry. In this paper, we survey, analyze and summarize the current machinery part industry focused on Chunk-buk Area.

The purposes of this study are predictions of the changes in the section geometry and determination of the initial cross section so that opposite side in height direction is exactly parallel after coiling process. Finite element analysis is carried out for the calculation of the sectional changes for mold spring item. Analysis results reveal that the slope of the top and bottom sides varies in the range of 5 to 8 degrees and the amount depends on the dimension of the outer diameter. The slopes of the sides should be defined first among design variables.

The analysis of circular plates under the constant pressure are simplified as the loading conditions of the circular manhole. The theoretical solution of circular plates with respect to the constant pressures are derived by using the governing equation of plate deflection. The deflection and the radial stress distributions were calculated by the theory. Finite element solutions were conducted with respect to the element types of the continuum elements. The most accurate element was selected by comparisons of the theoretical solutions and simulated solutions. The C3D8I element type in brick-type continuum elements gave in a good accordance with the theoretical solutions.

This paper is concerned with deformation analysis of diaphragm-type air springs for railway vehicles, which consist of six layered nylon fiber-reinforced rubber composite, rubber linings and steel wire bead parts. The analysis has been carried out with a finite element code developed to consider the orthotropic properties of fiber-reinforced rubber lamina, geometric non-linearity by large deformation, and contact between an air bag and a bead ring. The analysis provides vertical spring characteristics of an air spring, which are the variation of the vertical force, the volume of an air bag and the internal pressure with respect to the vertical deflection.
충북 수송기계소재부품산업 통계분석을 통한 기업지원영역 연구

본 2018년 충청북도의 주력산업은 스마트 IT 부품, 바이오 헬스, 수송기계 소재부품 산업이다. 수송기계 소재부품산업은 기계 분야에서 미래형 수송 수단 관련 친환경 및 지능형 핵심 원천기술에 해당한다. 이 산업을 육성하기 위하여 기업지원 사업이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기업지원 중 기술지원 사업의 대상과 방향을 설정하기 위하여 충북지역의 해당기업의 업체 수, 종업원 수, 출하액, 부가가치 액을 수송기계 소재부품 산업의 전방 산업과 후방 산업으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 특히 50인 미만의 중소기업체에 대하여 기업의 창설이후 업력에 따른 업체 당 부가가치 변화를 분석하여 지원 대상 기업군을 설정하였다. 후방 산업의 경우, 창업 3년 이내의 업체의 부가가치 액은 연도 별로 점점 낮아지고 있어 창업 초기에 기술지원이 필요하다. 5~9년 사이의 업체는 연도 별로 극심한 변화 추세를 보이고 있어 사업 다각화 또는 신규 아이템 발굴을 위한 지원이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. The main industries in Chungcheongbuk-do are the smart IT parts; bio-health; and transportation machinery, materials and parts. The transportation, machinery, materials and parts (TMMP) industry is a key source technology for environmentally friendly and intelligent vehicles related to future vehicles in the machinery sector. Business support projects to improve this industry are currently underway. In this study, the number of enterprises, number of employees, amount of shipment, and added value of the enterprises in Chungbuk area were analyzed for the downstream and rear industries of the transportation, machinery, materials, and parts industry to set targets and directions for the technical support projects during the enterprise support. In particular, for the SMEs with less than 50 employees, the changes in the value added per enterprise were analyzed according to the period from the year of foundation. In the case of the rear industry, the value added by companies within three years after foundation has decreased gradually each year, so technical support is needed at the beginning of the startup. Companies between the ages of five and nine years are showing a fluctuating trend each year. Therefore, it is necessary to support business diversification or find new items.

An inverter scroll compressor is used for the air conditioning in cars. Scrolls would be changed from the aluminum material to the magnesium material in order to satisfy the light weight trends of cars. The material changing influences on the scroll dimensions particularly the gap between two scrolls. Since the larger gap declines the performance of the compression, the gap between wraps of scrolls or the gap between wraps of scrolls to the plate of the opposite scroll is regarded as an important design variable. This paper is focused on the effects of the thermal stress due to the materials changing. The temperature difference between the inlet and the outlet is about 60 degrees and the highest operating temperature in the compressor is less than 110 degrees. The level of thermal stresses in the magnesium scroll is less than the result from aluminum one. The trend of the deformation is revealed that the normal directional deformation is 2 times lager than the in-plane directional deformation. Therefore the gap between the top of the wrap to the plate of the opposite scroll become more important than the other gaps. The orbiting scroll deforms larger than the fixed scroll by the thermal stresses. The deformation of the magnesium scroll is about 10% lager than that of the aluminum scroll. This value is similar to the ratio of the coefficients of thermal expansion of two materials. At the initial design stage, the results give many useful guides to engineers to propose gaps between parts.
유한요소법과 반응표면법을 이용한 경량 맨홀 커버 구조 최적화 설계

The locking load of a conventional manhole depends on the weight of its cover. Locking-type manhole structures with a special locking mechanism were recently developed to prevent accidents such as stolen cover, away cover from a frame. The weight of the manhole structure can be reduced under structural safety because the locking force of a locking-type manhole is greater than the weight of the cover. A light-weight manhole cover is developed in this study by using a finite element stress analysis and the design of experiments. Static stress analysis and fracture experiments are also conducted to analyze the states of the initial product. The optimum light-weight manhole cover considering manufacturing molds is developed and tested. Consequently, the weight was found to reduce by 16%. In addition, the fracture load increased by 38%.
