        해수면 온도분포에 대한 최대상관계수법과 역행렬법의 적용

        The surface velocities were estimated by the Maximum Cross Correlation(MCC) method and an inverse method from A VHRR/SST. In the results of MCC, discontinuous flow fields were estimated in the case that cross correlation coefficient was above 0.5 but these flow pattern disappeared when cross correlation coefficient was above 0.9. This estimation was conspicuous near SST patterns of eddies. In the results of inverse method, flow field was continuous and eddy motion was estimated definitely but the velocity was overestimated in compared with MCC result over the area of small temperature gradient. This result may be due to temperature error included in SST calculated and spatial variation of heat flux.

        AVHRR 자료를 이용한 지형류의 추정과 그 적용

        NOAA AVHRR의 MCSST를 이용하여 지형류의 상대속도를 추정하였으며 이것을 대한해협에 적용하였다. 원격탐사는 관측시에 광범위한 지역에 대해서 동시성 및 반복성이 유지되기 때문에 해양현상을 연구하는 데 있어서 훌륭한 도구로써 쓰일 수 있다. 특히 AVHRR 자료는 높은 분해능으로 인해서 선상관측 자료보다도 지형류를 더욱 정밀하게 구할 수 있다. 연구 결과에 의하면 1992년 4월에 대한해협 서수도에서의 상대속도는 골이 있는 해역에서 가장 크며 이 때 유속의 크기는 약 23.8cm/sec로 나타났다. 그러나 이 결과는 geopotential anomaly를 계산할 때 염분의 효과를 무시한 만큼의 오류를 포함하고 있다. 또한 대한해협 서수도에서 지형류의 수송량은 약 0.3Sv이며 쓰시마와 골이 있는 해역 사이에서 수송량이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. The relative geostrophic velocity is estimated by using the MCSST(Multi-Channel Sea Surface Temperature) from a NOAA/AVHRR image and applied to the Korea Strait. Remote sensing technique can playa useful role to research for oceanic phenomena because of its synoptic, simultaneous and repetitive viewing. The high resolution data of AVHRR can determine the geostrophic flow more precisely than the hydrographic data on shipboard. As a result of research, the relative geostrophic velocity in the western channel of the Korea Strait is the strongest in the trough area and its maximum speed is about 23.8 cm/sec in April, 1992. But this results include the error due to neglecting the effect of salinity in estimating the geopotential anomaly. The geostrophic volume transport through the western channel of the Korea Strait is the largest between trough area and the Tsushima Island.

        Recently, the scale of construction project is getting bigger compared to previous projects. Therefore, the job stress of the field manager responsible for the construction project is getting more and more intense. Therefore, construction companies should establish a job stress management plan for stable human resource management of the field managers. From this perspective, in this study was developed a job stress measurement system in connection with MBTI personality types. The developed system allows the job stress of the field manager to be judged on a scale from 1 to 9 points. Accordingly, it is expected that construction companies will contribute to the effective management of field managers in the future.

      • Determination of Weighting Factor in the Inverse Model for Estimating Surface Velocity from AVHRR/SST Data

        The inverse method has been used to estimate a surface velocity field from sequential AVHRR/SST data. In the model, equation system was composed of heat equation and horizontal divergence minimization and the velocity field contained in the advective term of the heat equation, which was linearized in grid system, was estimated. A constraint was the minimization of horizontal divergence with weighting factor and introduced to compensate the null space(Menke, 1984) of the velocity solutions for the heat equation. The experiments were carried out to set up the range of weighting factor and the matrix equation was solved by SVD(Singular Value Decomposion). In the experiment, the scales of horizontal temperature gradient and divergence of synthetic velocity field were approximated to those of real field. The neglected diffusive effect and the horizontal variation of heat flux in the heat equation were regarded as random temperature errors. According to the result of experiments, the minimum of relative error was more desirable than the minimum of misfit as the criteria of setting up the weighting factor and the error of estimated velocity field became small when the weighting factor was order of $10^{-1}$

        소아에서 동맥혈 이산화탄소분압과 호기말 이산화탄소분압의 비교

        End-tidal PCO₂ measurements are less accurate in neonates, infants, and small children than in adults. These in accuracies may by attributed in part to the dilution of end-tidal gas with fresh gas as a result of placing the sampling catheter between the endotracheal tube and a partial rebreathing circuit. To determine the most accurate catheter position for measurements of end-tidal gas tensions, end-tidal PCO₂ was measured continuously from the distal and proximal end of the endotracheal tube and these data were compared with simultaneous arterial PCO₂. The results were as follows: 1) In children weigthing above 15 kg ventilated with partial rebreathing circuit, both distal and proximal end-tidal PCO₂ values approximated arterial PCO₂ (p$lt;0.05). 2) In infants and children weigthing below 15 kg ventilated with Ayre's T-piece breathing circuit(Jackson-Rees modification), only distal end-tidal PCO₂ approximated arterial PCO₂.
