        Purpose : In developing the methodology for achieving functional safety, it recognizes the close linkage with the reliability system throughout the industry and suggests a methodology to improve the inherent problems of functional safety. Methods : Study of methodology to secure functional safety by using procedural method of practical application of various methodologies to achieve functional safety based on reliability system. Studying methodology for achieving functional safety of products utilizing the basis of IEC 61508 and IEC 60300 reliability standards Results : Achieve DFR implementation method and design reliability improvement methodology Conclusion : Suggest ideas for systematic measures to prevent overseas marketing failures due to unreliability under global competition.

        Purpose In developing the methodology for achieving the product safety quality, we recognize the close linkage with the quality management system to the industry as a whole and propose an implementation methodology to eliminate the inherent problem of product safety. Methods A study of methodology for ensuring product safety by using procedural methods of applying various methods to achieve product safety based on the quality management system, and "Product Safety Management System" and research on QCC (Quality Control Circle) implementation method and improvement procedure methodology to improve R & D, design, production, quality, safety quality level, product safety quality a systematic methodology of achieving. Results Developing a model to improve the safety level of the product, developing product safety quality improvement model which is a method to identify, evaluate and eliminate potential risks, improve product safety quality Developing a manual to improve the product safety quality of small and medium sized companies easily in accordance with the stages of finding, evaluating, and eliminating potential failures by applying widely used product safety quality improvement techniques including techniques Conclusion: Suggest ideas for a systematic approach to prevent accidents and personal injury accidents caused by the absence of risk management in each company
