Spray characteristics of the injector geometry using prefilming method were studied quantitatively and qualitatively using water and differential pressure. Researches on lean burners have been actively conducted to reduce NOx in the exhaust gas. Accordingly, Prefimling Airblast method, one of the lean burning methods, has received attention. The prefilming injector forms a liquid film, and the characteristics of the liquid film depend on the geometrical shape parameters of the injector. Therefore, the number and angle of slit inside the injector were changed and the characteristics were observed. Water was used instead of fuel and the spray pressure was fixed and the formation of liquid film was observed.
