Generally, in inverter are welding machines, much spatter which is small article generated during metal transfer procedure is generated. It reduces productivity and needs additional removal work. So, the recent research topics on CO₂ are welding machines are focused on the reduction method of generated spatter. In this paper, Wire feeding rate control method for enhanced welding performance of inverter are welding machine is studied and compared with the control method of commercial welding machine For the proposed wire feeding motor control system, the digital controller is designed by TMS320F240.<br/> From results of experiment, welding current and voltage waveforms of the proposed controller show better characteristics and less instantaneous short circuit which can affect for amount of spatter generation. Through the phase plane analysis, the ripples of speed and acceleration in the proposed scheme become so much less than those in the commercial welding machine. Finally, it can be seen that wire feeding speed ripple affect spatter generation directly. Therefore, welding performance can be improved by reducing of wire feeder speed ripple using constant speed control method

The application field of photovoltaic system has been increased widely. In the application of photovoltaic system, the utility interactive photovoltaic system(UIPVS) has benefits of not only the home energy saving in domestic system but also reduction of peak power which threaten the capacity of power plant equipment when the maximum power consumption is occurred in daytime This paper represents the effect of the nonlinear AC load which connected to the UlPVS with parallel connection and introduces the active power filtering(APF) techniques to the UIPVS for the reactive power compensation. The enhancement of source side power quality using APF algorithm is verified using simulation

Gas metal arc welding(GMAW) uses a continuously fed electrode as a filler metal. The arc is shielded from atmospheric contamination by an inert gas. active gas or inert/active gas mixture delivered through the welding gun and cable assembly. The recent research topics on CO₂ arc welding machines are focused mainly on the reduction method of generated spatter by using new type consumable electrode metal or inverter control method. The various current waveform control methods have been researched for welding performance improvement<br/> Until now current waveform control methods reduce to spatter occurred by instantaneous short circuiting<br/> but. these methods is drawback that no reduce spatter occurred by arc reignition. In this paper the previous arc reignition current control method for welding performance improvement of inverter arc welding machine is studied and compared the various current control methods With the previous arc reignition current control method.
