일반인 대상 자기보고식 사이코패시성격 종합평가 도구(CAPP-SR) 타당화 연구 : ESEM과 DIF 분석을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 일반인을 대상으로 하여 CAPP-SR의 요인구조를 확립하고, 성별에 따라 차별적으로 기능하는 문항을 탐색하여 타당화하는 것이다. CAPP-SR은 CAPP이 제시하는 사이코패시 개념도에 따라 6개 영역과 33개 증상, 99개의 문항으로 구성된 자기보고식 평가 도구이다. 이를 위하여 성인 남녀 500명을 전국에서 표집하였으며, CAPP의 원저자가 제시하는 CAPP의 6개 영역이 한국 일반인에게도 적용될 수 있는지 탐색하였다. 이후 탐색적 요인분석(EFA) 및 탐색적 구조방정식 모형(ESEM)을 통해 요인구조를 도출하여 ‘충동적·비계획성’, ‘과도한 자기 자신감’, ‘고지식한·독선적인’, ‘적대성’, ‘조종하는’, ‘공감능력 결핍’, ‘자기 특별의식’, ‘냉담함·무심함’의 8개 요인으로 분류함이 가장 적절하다는 결론을 내렸다. 이후 모형의 적합도를 증진시키기 위해 수정지수를 산출하여 의미가 유사하다고 판단된 두 문항 사이의 잔차상관을 허용하는 방법으로 모형을 수정하였다. 이후 성별에 따른 차별기능문항을 분석한 결과 남성에게 유리한 문항 5문항, 여성에게 유리한 문항 8문항으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 한국에 잘 알려져 있지 않은 성공적 사이코패스 개념을 소개하고, CAPP-SR을 타당화하여 국내에 존재하는 성공적 사이코패시를 평가할 수 있는 도구를 제공하였다는 데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to establish a factor structure of CAPP-SR for the general public and to explore Differential Item Functioning between gender. CAPP-SR is a self-report evaluation tool consisting of 6 domains, 33 symptoms, and 99 items according to the psychopathic conceptual map presented by CAPP. To this end, 500 adult men and women were sampled nationwide, and the six domains of CAPP proposed by the original author of CAPP were explored to see if they could be applied to the general public in Korea. As a result of exploring the factor structure through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and exploratory structural equation model(ESEM), it was most appropriate to classify it into eight factors: ‘impulsive·nonplanfulness’, ‘excessive self-esteem’, ‘inflexible·stubborness’, ‘hostility’, ‘manipulating’, ‘lack of empathy’, ‘sense of self-uniqueness’, ‘coldness·uncaring’. After that, in order to improve the fit of the model, the model was modified by calculating the modification indices and allowing residual correlation between the two items judged to have similar meaning. As a result of analyzing the DIF items between gender, there were 5 questions favorable to men and 8 questions favorable to women. This study is meaningful in that it introduced the concept of successful psychopaths that are not well known in Korea and provided a tool to evaluate successful psychopaths existing in Korea by validating CAPP-SR.
