The technologies and methodologies used to develop distributed applications in internet area is various. Interest in mobile agent paradigm is greatly increased since mobile agents would effectively reduce the network traffic and flexibly process various requests of clients without modifying the interface of servers. However, most current mobile agent systems have their own architecture and implementation in different ways. As a consequence, mobile agents created in a mobile agent system are not supported in other mobile agent systems. To solve the problem, the OMG(Object Management Group) proposed the MAF(Mobile Agent Facilities) specification for the interoperability among heterogeneous mobile agent systems. In this paper, we developed a mobile agent system which satisfies the OMG MAF specification. The developed mobile agent system consists of Places that provide execution environments for agents, Monitor that monitors life-cycle of agents and places, and Resource Manager that allocates resources of system for agent.

코드 변환용 table을 이용한 한글 코드 변환의 구현

본 연구에서 다양한 체계의 한글 코드를 사용하고 있는 퍼스널 컴퓨터에서 본코드 변환용 소프트웨어를 개발함으로 앞으로 한글 소프트웨어의 이식이 쉬워질뿐만 아니라 소프트웨어의 보급과 퍼스널 컴퓨터의 보급에 큰 장애를 하나 제거하게 되었다. Hangul code conversion software developed in this paper makes it easy to port Hangul software in the personal computer used in various Hangul code system. And it eliminates the obstacle of the supply of softwares and personal computers.

본 연구에서는 음성응용 시스템 개발도구인 VxP를 이용하여 입시지원 현황시스템인 EEAS를 개발하였다. EEAS는 일반 프로그래밍 언어로 개발되지 않았음으로 개발뿐만 아니라 수정등 유지·보수가 용이하다. 이것은 음성정보를 데이타로 저장한 후 응용 프로그램에서는 외부로부터 걸려온 전화에 대해 적당한 메시지를 응답할 수 있도록 한 것이다. This Study represents a development of ARS of an entrance examination application status using VxP, a development platform for voice application, instead of using general programming language. This system stores the voice information, afterwards application program EEAS can respond the appropriate massage stored in disk to the external telephone call.

정보검색에서 시각적 요소를 이용한 Man-Machine Interface의 구현

정보검색 시스템의 질의어 입력을 위한 인터페이스는 대부분 스트링 기반 질의어로 되어 있다. 그러나 이 방법은 초보자들이 질의어를 구성하기가 쉽지 않고, 또한 원하는 정보 획득을 위해 질의어를 여러 번 반복해야 할 경우 정보검색 시스템 전체의 효율을 떨어뜨리는 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 table을 이용하여 질의어를 시각적으로 구성하여 질의어 구성이 용이하도록 하였다. 또한 새로운 질의어 입력시 이전에 실행한 질의어를 그대로 사용하거나 약간의 수정을 가하여 사용할 수 있는 기능을 추가함으로써 사용자들에게 편리한 정보검색 환경을 제공한다. Most of the query language interfaces for the Information Retrieval System is string-based. But it is not easy for the novice to compose the query by the approach and this lessens the effectiveness of the whole IR system which requires repetitive query to acquire an information. So this paper implemented easy query language interface using table-based visual query and suggests the efficient information retrieval environment for the user by adding the facility to use previous query or to use a little modification of the previous query.

FILE 전송시 2 Byte 한글 Code와 N Byte 한글 Code간의 변환에 대한 연구

본 논문에서는 주 컴퓨터와 개인용 컴퓨터 사이에서 코우드 체계를 달리하는 한글의 경우에 이를 변환하여 두 기종사이에서 한글 파일이라 하더라도 호환성있게 전송하는 방법을 구현하였다. Download에서는 한글 입력 문자열들을 유한 오토마타로서 조합하여 2-바이트 한글을 완성해주고, Upload에서는 2-Byte 한글 Code에서 초성, 중성, 종성을 떼내어 대응되는 7-bit code를 전송하는 방법을 통해 code 변환을 이룩하였다. In this paper, we want to show you how to be able to use Hangul file portably bwtween HOST computer and personal computer. Hangul input character string was passed through finite automata and converted to 2-byte Hangul code in Download. But in Upload we splitted initial sound, middle sound and final sound from 2-byte Hangul code and accessed the corresponding 7-bit code from code conversion table by each sound splitted from 2-byte Hangul code. And so we can use any Hangul file compatibly in both computer.
