본 연구는 초고령화 시대 노인의 여가와 놀이 욕구 충족 및 노인 신체를 고려한 건강 관리를 위한 방안으로 노인놀이터의 개념과 필요성을 고찰하였다. 또한 해외 및 관련 사례 분석을 통해 국내에 노인놀이터를 조성할 때 고려해야 할 가이드라인을 제시하였다. 먼저 문헌연구를 통해 해외 노인놀이터 관련 가이드라인, 국내의 실내 노인공간 관련 가이드라인, BF(Barrier Free) 인증제도 매뉴얼을 살펴보고, 이를 종합분석하여 국내 실외형 노인놀이터의 기능 및 디자인 가이드라인의 범주와 가이드라인을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 기능 가이드라인은 자율선택, 사회성 지원, 신체적 활동, 가변성의 4가지 범주로, 디자인 가이드라인은 쉬운 이해, 안전성, 안정성, 접근성, 심미ㆍ쾌적성, 정보성, 보행편의의 7가지 범주로 도출되었다. 이 외에 노인놀이터의 국내 도입과 활성화를 위애 인식 개선, 정보 지원, 조성공간 마련, 지원 제도 마련, 재정 지원, 가치 창출에 관한 사항을 제언하였다. 본 연구는 변화하는 노인 세대를 위한 놀이 및 여가시설의 중요성을 시사하는 동시에, 가이드라인이 부재한 상태로 실외 노인놀이터가 조성되고 있는 현 상황에서 활용할 수 있는 기초적인 지침으로써 의미가 있다. The purpose of this study is to suggest guidelines for the introduction of elderly playgrounds for senior citizens to meet the needs of the active senior generation and promote health. In addition, through analysis of overseas and related cases, guidelines were proposed to be considered when creating a playground for the elderly. Through literature research, the overseas playground guidelines, domestic elderly interior design guidelines, and BF(Barrier Free) certification system manuals were reviewed, and based on these, the elderly playground guidelines will be derived. According to the study, the function guidelines are organized into four types: ① autonomous selection ②social support ③physical activity ④Variability. The design guidelines are organized into seven types: ①Easy understanding ②Safety ③Stability ④Accessibility ⑥ Aesthetic and ⑥comfortable Information service ⑦Walking convenience. Policy suggestions were derived as six categories: improving awareness, information support, space utilization, establishing a basis system, financial consideration, and value creation. This study suggests the importance of leisure facilities for the changing elderly generation, while at the same time, it is meaningful as a basic guideline to be used in the current situation where outdoor elderly playgrounds are being created without guidelines.
