When vehicle crashes into pedestrian, it perceives the crash. And automatically it goes up its hood which prevents pedestrian header from second collision of vehicle"s hood or wind shield part. And through impact buffer effect, it reduces bodily harm rate of pedestrian"s header. This system needs many kinds of components. First, It needs sensor for crashing perceive and ECU is for judging what is the crash object. If the object is a pedestrian, hood is gone up. At that time, this system also needs Actuator. Nowadays, AHLS is applied for many real vehicles. And this system is comprised of many kinds of sensor, ECU, Actuator. In this research, Actuator is one of AHLS major components. So, this research has been studied about workings of Actuator. But there are many kinds of Actuator workings. Especially, this research analyzed Spring, Solenoid, Latch Mechanism of Actuator.

Slam testing of a door module is one of the most significant fatigue-related testing process to meet the qualified performance guideline that is stipulated by major car makers. And every testing procedure of the slam testing is done as slamming the moving part of a door module by hydraulic actuators in practice. Current testing situation is required considerable efforts on the way to prepare the slam testing and even more, even a single specimen result sacrifices at least two weeks or more physically. In this paper, a accelerated similarity testing methodology of a door module is proposed using vibration test equipment instead of the honest testing procedure, that is purely slamming the target system repeatedly up to a failure mode. The response of a door plate module during slam testing indicates that fundamental resonance behaviors of the specimen accumulates the fatigue damage on hot spot of the door plate module. So, The accelerated similarity alternatives of the slam testing is proposed by the block cycle excitation of which spectrum is consisted of resonance frequencies of a target system. Also, the calibration of block cycle testing is conducted through the comprehend the fact of failure mode obtained by the multi-axial vibration testing.

A smart vehicle represents an ASV(advanced safety vehicle) which can supplement limitations on sight and perception of driver and passenger with a basis of Active Vehicle Control Technology. Thus, it is necessary to develop an innovative technology which is able to increase the safety and convenience of existing vehicles. The thesis is a study to design PTL(Power Trunk Lid) System by Multi-Objective Optimization. It is analyzed by Taguchi design of experiment with the table of orthogonal arrays, and the optimum design point is chosen on the base of the aforementioned analysis which applies Multi-Objective Optimization. PTL System is very important in terms of accepting demands of customers. However, it is currently dependent on the technology of advanced foreign enterprises. PTL System design can apply to the outcome. Furthermore, the satisfaction with costs and customers’ demands and the decrease of costs can be expected as well.

Recently, vehicle part industry is now face with the task of satisfaction customer’s needs and cost reduction. Accordingly, vehicle part industry needs advanced techniques. This paper is the study about sensitivity analysis of design variable of PTL(Power Trunk Lid) hinge point. It is precedent study of optimum design of PTL hinge point. In this study, we analyze sensitivity of each design variable, and ranked it. As a result, we could find appropriate design variable of PTL system. PTL system is very important to accommodate customer’s needs, but we have to depend on foreign affiliated now. This result can be applied to design of PTL system, and we expect reduction of cost and satisfaction of customer’s demands.
