Nano Silicon Carbide was modified with a vinyl group to strengthen the dispersibility and the bonding of the chemical interface between the silicon resin and the SiC surface. The modified nano SiC was charged and dispersed as 0, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 wt%, and samples were prepared to evaluate partial discharge resistance, thermal conductivity, and (+) HVDC dielectric strength. Thermal conduction, partial discharge resistance, and dielectric breakdown strength were evaluated. The partial discharge resistance was studied continuously for 5kV/720Hz×500 hours with an IEC(B) electrode.
