수학교과에서 집중이수제 시행에 관한 교사와 학생들의 인식 조사

The purposes of this study were to investigate the perceptions of teachers and students on the implementation of the intensive course completion system in mathematics courses and to provide suggestions for the improvement of the system. Five high school mathematics teachers and 338 10th graders and 87 11th graders in 2 high schools located in Gyeonggi-do participated in this study. The results of this study indicated that the intensive course completion system is more appropriate to the subjects which require less time allotment or practical exercise than mathematics courses. For better implementation of the intensive course completion system in mathematics courses, first of all, enough time allotment for teaching and learning mathematics should be guaranteed. Otherwise, the system can make students feel more burden of learning due to increase in learning volume of mathematics courses.

본 연구는 사다리타기 게임을 중학교 수학에서 함수의 도입과 고등학교에서의 합성함수의 도입을 위한 소재로서의가능성을 탐색하고 있다. 사다리타기 게임에 사용되는 사다리그림은 일대일대응이 되므로 집합을 도입하지 않고도직관적으로 쉽게 함수의 개념을 도입할 수 있다. 또한 하나의 가로선을 갖는 사다리그림은 일대일대응이므로 ?개의가로선을 갖는 사다리그림은 ?개의 일대일대응의 합성함수를 결정함을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 일대일대응에 대한 기본적인 몇 가지 사실에 대하여 사다리그림을 이용하여 수학적으로 증명하였고, 중학교에서의 함수와 고등학교에서 합성함수를 사다리타기 게임으로 도입할 수 있음을 제시하였다. 일대일대응에 대한 사다리그림은 학생들의 흥미와 집중을 유도할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 함수의 개념을 직관적으로 쉽게 이해하게 하는 좋은 소재로 활용할 수 있다. In this paper, we explore the possibility that ladder diagram games can be used for the introduction of the function and composite function. A ladder diagram with at most one rung is a bijection. Thus a ladder diagram with r rungs is the composition of r one-to-one correspondence. In this paper, we use ladder diagrams to give simple proofs of some fundamental facts about one-to-one correspondence. Also, we suggest Story-telling for introduction of function in middle school and high school. The ladder diagram approach to one-to-one correspondence not only grabs our students`attention, but also facilitates their understanding of the concept of functions.
