유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 원가족경험이 양육행동에 미치는 영향에서 자아존중감의 매개효과

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모를 대상으로 부모의 원가족경험이 양육행동에 미치는 영향에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하기 위하여 서울, 인천 등 수도권 지역에 거주하고 있는 만 3세∼만 5세의 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모 711명을 대상으로 SPSS 24.0와 LISREL 8.52를 활용하여 분석하였다. 원가족경험, 자아존중감, 양육행동간 관계를 파악하기 위해 Pearson의 적률상관분석을 실시하였고 원가족경험과 자아존중감이 양육행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구모형 검증을 위해 구조방정식모형을 분석하고, 연구모형의 타당성 검증을 위해 모형적합도 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 원가족경험이 양육행동에 미치는 영향은 가족투사, 정서적 단절, 가족퇴행이 양육행동에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 원가족경험이 자아존중감에 미치는 영향은 가족투사와 정서적 단절이 자아존중감에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자아존중감이 양육행동에 미치는 영향은 판단과 행동, 자신의 가치가 양육행동에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 자아존중감은 원가족경험과 양육행동에 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 부모의 원가족경험이 양육행동에 미치는 영향에 있어 부모의 자아존중감은 주요 매개변수임을 확인하였다. 미래사회의 부모역할 위기에 적절한 대처방안으로 부모교육 프로그램이나 상담을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다. This study was conducted to examine the mediating effect of self-esteem in the effects of family-of-origin experiences on parenting behavior for parents with children of infancy. SPSS 24.0 and LISREL 8.52 were used for data analysis of 711 parents with infant children. Pearson s moment correlation analysis was performed to understand the relationship between family-of-origin experience, self-esteem, and parenting behavior. Structural equation model was analyzed and researched to verify the research model on the effect of family-of-origin experience and self-esteem on parenting behavior. To verify the validity of the model, the model fit test was performed. The research results are as follows. First, as for the effect of family-of-origin experience on parenting behavior, it was found that family projection, emotional disconnection, and family regression had a negative effect on parenting behavior. Second, as for the effect of family-of-origin experience on self-esteem, it was found that family projection and emotional disconnection had a negative effect on self-esteem. Third, as for the effect of self-esteem on parenting behavior, it was found that judgment, behavior, and self-worth had a positive effect on parenting behavior. Lastly, it was found that self-esteem plays a partial mediating role in family-of-origin experience and parenting behavior. This study confirmed that parental self-esteem is a major parameter in the effect of parental family experience on parenting behavior, and is meaningful in providing basic data for parent education programs or counseling that can cope with future social crises.
