The drilled shaft in the domestic construction sites are usually installed in soft rock or weathered rock layer. The formula of bearing capacity of the drilled shafst were adapted from foreign codes, which are not suitable in domestic subsurface condition. The most of formular of the end bearing capacity of drilled shafts are using uniaxial compressive strength of rock cores, which are hard to obtain in most of domestic weathered rock layer. In this study, several domestic area of bi-directional loading tests were analyzed. And the correlation of SPT N value and unit end resistance were analyzed. Also, appropriate design unit end resistance of domestic weathered/soft rock layer is suggested according to SPT N values.
