The regular vehicles inspection of vehicles in service in domestic country, vehicle safety and emission gas inspection, have been in force by the korea transportation safety authority and a private servicing enterprise according to the vehicle administration law(1995). Especially, the safety inspection which is developed by an compatible inspection system and method make every effort to increasing the reliability of vehicle safety and the service quality, and to protecting national health. In this study, therefore, the reliability of braking force inspection method in the current regular vehicles inspection is studied statistically by comparing a dynamic braking force inspection with a static braking force inspection, and also analyzed a problem and characteristic of current braking force inspection method. As the results, the program for the increasing reliability of the regular vehicles inspection system and inspection result is furnished.

In the most of a nation, the safety and emission gas inspection system of a vehicle in service have been conducted with the most compatible inspection system according to its real environmental situation. Especially, the state of vehicle emission gas is measured by advanced emission gas inspection equipment. It has the problem that the decrease effect of an environmental pollution matter is not calculated by weight percent measurement type equipment. Therefore, in this study, the correlations for the results of emission gas measurement are analyzed by comparing a weight percent measurement type(Idle+ASM2525 mode) and an advanced mass measurement type(IM240 mode). As the result, the selectivity of an emission gas by IM240 mode is higher than that by Idle+ASM2525 mode. In the future, therefore, the introduction of IM240 mode and a mass measurement type equipment are necessary. Also, the preparation of a vehicle emission gas inspection system is need to introduce IM240 mode.

According to vehicle control regulations in 1917, vehicle inspection system of a vehicle in service has been conducted by the transportation safety authority and non-official servicing shops. In advanced country, a vehicle safety inspection system has been conducted according to its real situation. Especially, Japan, Germany and USA etc. make an effort not only the reliability, but also the quality of a safety inspection service by introducing an advanced vehicle inspection system. But, in korea, trying to improve the operation such as the development of a computing system, the automation of inspection equipment and inspection standard service etc. by the transportation safety authority during about 50 years, the existing vehicle safety inspection system has been conducted without the improvement of a special legal and system. In this study, in order to develope and introduce an advanced vehicle safety inspection system, which apply flexibly to new vehicle design technology and consider to the reliability and facility, we try to improve the efficiency of advanced safety inspection methods by comparing exist safety inspection methods with advanced safety inspection methods. And advancing the safety inspection equipment on the base of this study"s result, the purpose of this study make an offer to not only setting the equipment with applicable in inspection center, but also increasing the effectiveness of the vehicle inspection system, withdrawing inconvenience according to inspection a vehicle in service, and optimal servicing a vehicle safety inspection. Especially, up to now, the study on a safety inspection for a vehicle in service after a delivery new vehicle was not sufficient, we provide the fundamental data to a government policy on the base of this study"s result.
고압 다이캐스팅 공법을 이용한 마그네슘 시트프레임 개발

In this study, the express bus seat-frame components were substituted by the Mg alloy from the steel for the light weight. Mg alloy seat-frame was manufactured by the high pressure die-casting process. The designs of the existing steel alloy’s seat-frame were analyzed to check the safety requirements, and then were designed for a high pressure die-casting process with considering the fluidity of Mg alloy. The die-casting conditions were decided with the solidification and fluidity analysis, and die-casting mold was made with this results. Normally, the seat-frame was consisted of arm-rest and seat-back-frame. To confirm the Mg seat-frame safety, it was that mechanical property, vertical load, and forward moment, and endurance fatigue were simulated and tested. Finally, the light-weight Mg alloy seat-frame was made by high pressure die-casting with the seat-back-frame 35% weight-reduction and the arm-rest 30% weight-reduction compare to the steel alloy seat-frame.

Recently, the automobile industry handles environmental standards and demands decrease of vehicle weight to reduce the environmental pollution. Reducing weight improves a car"s fuel economy. The weight of Aluminium Alloy used in this paper lights about 50~60% than the steel. And It have characterized that excel the stiffness, thermal resistance and corrosion resistance. The response surface method used in the paper is the statistical method. The RADIUS ROD used the lightweight material performs optimization method. Structural analysis usig the ANSYS program is executed to find static and dynamic responses. From this study, it is verified that the response surface method has advantage in optimum value and computation time in comparison to other optimization methods. By response surface method to derive the optimal design values, the analysis was performed again. The results of optimal design analysis, the weight reduces and intensity, frequency and deformation similar to existing products were able to see the analysis results.
