대학생의 미래시간관과 주체적 참여의 관계에서 자기통제의 매개효과

This study was to investigate the mediating effect of self-control on the relationship between future time perspective and agentic engagement of university students. The data of 229 university students were analyzed through SPSS and AMOS programs. Descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and bootstrap analysis were conducted, and the fit of the research model was confirmed. The main results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation between future time perspective, self-control, and agentic engagement. Second, self-control had a full mediating effect on the relationship between future time perspective and agentic engagement. It suggests that future time perspective and self-control are factors that affect the agentic engagement, and is meaningful in that it confirms the psychological mechanism of agentic engagement of university students. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 미래시간관과 주체적 참여의 관계에서 자기통제의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 대한민국 소재 4년제 대학생 229명을 대상으로 온라인 설문 플랫폼을 활용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, SPSS 및 AMOS 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 먼저, 기술통계 및 상관분석을 실시하여 각 변인의 특성과 변인 간 관계를 확인하였고 연구모형의 적합성을 판단하기 위해 적합도 지수를 확인하였다. PROCESS Macro model 4를 이용한 부트스트랩 분석을 실시하여 매개효과의통계적 유의성을 확인하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미래시간관, 주체적 참여, 자기통제는 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 둘째, 미래시간관과 주체적 참여의 관계에서 자기통제는 완전 매개효과를 나타내었다. 이는 미래시간관과 자기통제가 대학생의 주체적 참여에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 시사하며, 주체적 참여의 심리적 기제를 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
