A Study on the Conceptual Framework of User Experience ofMobile Map Service Based on Grounded TheoryBiwei Yang Abstract: This study proposes a conceptual framework of mobile map service user experience, to improve user experience. Based on the theoretical framework of Perceived Affordance, this study uses grounded theory to code and analyze the version iterations of three mainstream mobile map services in China. This study corresponds perceived affordance to the specific functions of mobile map services and theoretically mapping users’ needs and perceived affordance in adopting and using mobile map services by drawing on related theories. This study finally constructs the “Needs-Affordance-Features” framework in mobile map service through theoretical analysis, which reveals the core dimensions of mobile map service user experience design. This study helps to enhance the situational exploration of perceived affordance theory in information interaction. It provides a reference basis for the mainstream mobile map service user experience design.
