다구찌 기법을 이용한 Off-road 디젤 엔진 배기가스 특성의 강건 설계에 관한 연구

This paper deals with the robust design of the diesel engine on off-road. In order to this, the measurement of the NOx and PM emission based on the design of experiment using the orthogonal table was carried out and the control factors for exhaust using the small-the-better SN ratio with the Taguchi method were evaluated. The ANOVA for SN ratio was conducted. The injector hole number, ignition timing and EGR rate were selected as the control factors. The orthogonal table L9(3³) was made of 2 or 3 levels for each factor and the measurement of emission was accomplished on the base of the table. The injection timing on the NOx emission and the EGR rate on the PM emission affect the largest effect. A result of the analysis of variance to this, the injection timing of the experiments for PM emission is significant with 90% confidence level. And, in other situations, it is clarified that it is significant with 95%.
다구찌 기법을 이용한 FCM 가스켓의 강건 설계에 관한 연구

This paper deals with the robust design of the non-asbestos FCM gasket. In order to this, the measurement of the shear based on the design of experiment using the orthogonal table was carried out and the control factors for shear stress using the larger-the-better SN ratios with the Taguchi method were evaluated. In addition, the analysis of variance for SN ratios was conducted. The temperature, pressure, duration time and humidity were selected as the control factors. The orthogonal table L?(3⁴) was made of 3 levels for each factor and the measurement of shear stress was accomplished on the base of the table. Delta statistics of time is the highest value 0.93 and therefore the time affect the largest effect on the shear stress of gasket. Also from the analysis, the shear stress shows maximum at the duration time 80 sec, temperature 200℃, pressure 90kgf/cm2, humidity 60%RH. P values of duration time and temperature as a results of the analysis of variance are 0.037 and 0.098. Therefore the analysis has significant each with 95% and 90% confidence level.
Off-Road 기계식 디젤엔진의 EGR Map 적용에 따른 배출가스 특성 연구

최근 대기환경 개선에 대한 관심이 대두되면서 화석연료를 사용 하는 기관에 대한 배출가스 저감연구가 활발하게 진행 되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 저감 기술 중 NOx를 저감하기 위해 가장 많이 적용 되고 있는 EGR system을 Off-road 기계식 디젤엔진에 적용하였을 때 나타나는 배출가스 특성을 파악하기 위하여 진행되었다. EGR system 적용을 위하여 먼저 엔진의 운전영역에 대한 배출가스 특성을 파악하였고, 각각의 엔진회전수 조건에서 다양한 EGR 조건을 적용하여 NOx 저감을 위한 최적 EGR 율을 도출하였다. 이에 따라 수정된 EGR 맵 적용 조건의 엔진 배기 특성에 대해 NRTC 모드를 구현하여 EGR 미적용 조건 및 기존 맵과 비교 및 고찰하였으며, 그 결과로 EGR 미적용 조건 대비 NOx가 약 42% 저감됨을 보였다. Because reducing atmospheric pollution is becoming a serious issue, studies are actively focusing on exhaust gas reduction. This study was conducted to determine the emission characteristics when applying an EGR system, the main approach used for NOx reduction, to an off-road mechanical diesel engine. For the application of the EGR system, the emission characteristics in consideration of the engine conditions were analyzed. The optimum EGR ratio for NOx emission reduction was determined by applying variable EGR conditions for each engine speed condition. Considering the above process, the emission characteristics of the modified EGR condition are compared with those of other conditions (non-EGR and existing EGR condition) in the NRTC mode. Consequently, NOx emission was reduced by around 42 compared with the non-EGR condition when using the modified EGR map.
