This paper suggests the design method of fuzzy-based LQ controller and interpolation-based LQ controller. The former is combined with fuzzy membership function after completing design of sub-LQ controllers. The latter is accomplish by getting the final controller gain which is interpolated with each gain of sub-LQ controllers. The proposed methods are applied to an inverted pole system. The performance of the proposed schemes are demonstrated through a set of simulation.
